Have a garage sensor from Chamberlin MyQ and it fits fine. Usually replace these every 2-3 years, so good value for the money. We use our garage multiple times a day, so I'm sure the sensor is working all the time. Good battery life and large capacity for the use.

The key FOB in my car wasn't one of the standard size batteries that I keep around, it was the 2450. It was time to replace the FOB batteries, ordered these and they are a perfect replacement. I have only had them in the FOB's for ~ 4 weeks so I can't say how long they last but so far they work perfectly. It's worth spending the extra couple dollars to get a good quality battery. I bought the cheaper versions on Amazon and while they are affordable, they start giving up around 6 months in places that experience all four seasons at least, and the range on your father is so much shorter for some reason. I switched to this energizer one and I was able to start my car from inside a store which was easily 500 ft or more away with concrete walls in between. I couldn't do that before with the cheap ones so the power it give is much more than the cheap replacement ones. It's easy to install but the packaging is a little difficult to open for obvious reasons. Make sure you have scissors handy.
