Ann Clark Authentic Belgian Pearl Sugar, 8 oz.

Whenever I make waffles for breakfast, I add this in waffles and my family love the taste and flavor of this product!

I made butter swim biscuits and used the pearl sugar inside to give my family a surprise sweet bite inside the biscuits. I had them in Liege waffles and thought they’d be good in these biscuits. We ate them with strawberries and whipped cream on top! Everyone love the surprise sugar pearls.

Bought this specifically to use for leige waffles and it did not disappoint! The only issue I could see is that it's enough for only a double batch recipe so that makes for a pretty posh (expensive!) waffle! But it caramelized nicely on the outside of the waffles and left a delicate crunch on the inside. Purchased again!

Nice large pieces of sugar. Look lovely sprinkled on cookies.

Use these sugar pearls in a cranberry pistachio sourdough loaf and would be perfect for waffles or anything you want a little sugary crunchy surprise in.

I found the size of this pearl sugar was too large for my needs on Finnish sweets. it is about the size of lentils and needs to be crushed. have since found a more suitable brand which was also half the price.
