Method Gel Hand Soap Refill, Pink Grapefruit, 34 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

This hand wash smells amazing and cleanses well. It doesn't dry out my skin at all. I like that it is in a bag rather than a bottle. It takes up much less space and is easy to pour into my soap dispenser. It has a twist off cap with a small funnel-like opening to squeeze the thick, sheer pink soap into a dispenser or bottle of your choice. Much less messy than plastic bottles. The quality is excellent and a bag will last for ages because not much soap is needed to form a good lather. Method products are all really good and I will continue to buy refills like this rather than individual bottles or a big plastic bottle of hand soap. Also, regarding the pink grapefruit scent, it is unisex and my husband and sons don't mind using it all all unlike many of the scents I choose in single bottles which they feel smell cheap or like perfume.

"Method" is a San Francisco-based company specializing in "environmentally friendly" cleaning products, both for the home and for personal use. There's no animal testing, and, with the exception of their tallow-containg dryer sheets, no animal products are used. Pink grapefruit hand soap is an effective and gentle product that cleans well with no sudsing action. It has a very noticeable grapefruit smell, it will seem fresh and energizing to some, but will (naturally) repulse those who don't like the scent of grapefruit. While there are no articifial scents, and the grapefruit scent is not harsh or overpowering, it is definitely not fragrance-free. The soap contains "naturally-derived, biodegradable ingredients and contain vitamin E and aloe." However, their website (methodhome.com) informs us also that "for intellectual property reasons we do not give out the specific names of the chemicals we use." For various reasons, this is not an antibacterial soap (for example, method believe that antibacterial soap is not necessary given 20 seconds of washing with an non-antibacterial soap, that overuse of such ingredients might lead to increased bacteria resistance, and that these agents biodegrade more slowly than others--see website for more information). Bottom line: If grapefruit is OK with you, this is an excellent product that gets the job done with little or no environmental impact.

You know what a grapefruit smells like when you first slice it open…It’s this burst of that amazing fresh scent.I bought two different liquid hand soaps and I let my granddaughter choose the one she wanted; she chose this one and loves the scent. She has already requested when we get close to this being empty, she wants me to buy the same one again. Please note! The tall dispenser is from Italy and the soap in it was finished; but I wanted to keep the dispenser since a dear friend got it for me in her travels. My granddaughter now has two filled with the lovely grapefruit scent, which we all love as well.

This smells nice, but the product is diluted compared to even basic brands I find at Costco.

This is a great hand soap. I don't get tired of the smell (I normally do with most of them). Its a soft scent of grapefruit - very fresh and clean. It is very easy to refill the bottle with this refill bag - the tip fits right in the bottle and I've managed to keep from spilling any of it outside of the bottle (also something I normally do with other refills). The price point is also very affordable and totally worth it. This is a great alternative to buying a new bottle every time you run out which could cost $3 per bottle. This refill a bottle about 3 times - so this saves about $3. It also saves regular trips to the store to get the new bottle every time you run out. I recommend this product and I would purchase it again.

Our family loves this soap! It smells delicious & leaves your hands clean. Also a plus, this product doesn't dry out your hands.
