Adventurer 5M 3D Printer: 600mm/s High-Speed, Auto Bed Levelling, Quick-Change Nozzle, 220x220x220mm PEI Build Plate for Rapid Prototyping & Makers

Bought for my son who wanted to get into 3D printing. I have experience through work with Prusa and Bambu products. Comparing this printer with those more expensive offerings, this Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro stands up very well, with much of the whistles, bells and functionality of others, without the price tag. It looks the part and is well made and worked straight out of the box. It was simple to setup (even by my novice son) who has already progressed onto more practical designs of his own after trying out a couple of Thingiverse's offerings within a week of ownership. He's already got a smooth PEI sheet as an additional purchase (note it is supplied with a textured sheet only). Would I recomend it, absolutely. Its excellent value for money with great performance, simplicity of operation and output quality.

Quality is very very good. Practically it does 4 things - You can print useful items for around the house and garden - You start looking at items in shops and saying "i can print that" - It scratches that Itch to buy items as browsing STL files is like browsing online - You can print collectibles, decorations, toy accessories (missing that one lego piece? no prob) The printer itself is excellent. Very easy setup and very easy to resolve issues. After the initial cube print (the default to test the settings) I tried to print the Benchy Boat, another test. I noted that halfway in the printer continued to print but no filiment was coming out. It was my fault, the reel had jammed and wasnt feeding into the printer anymore. I easily ended the print, disconnected the extruder, removed the filiment, reconnected and it was fine.

Having continuous issues with my Ender 3 Clones, I decided to take the plunge on a much more hassle-free printer, This Flashforge M5 seemed to tick all of the boxes for an Upgrade, Faster speeds, Automatic calibration, and expandability support if I wanted to print ABS For example. there is a kit available to build the enclosure, Yes the Pro version has the camera and enclosure built in, But I like to tinker, and the price difference for practically the same machine, so I opted for the cheaper alternative. So far the experience has been positive, Indeed is hassle-free, and was up and printing the test models in less than 15 minutes of unpacking the Unit. It printed the test benchy in less than 14 minutes and was immediately stunned by the sheer speed of this machine, The manufacturer slicer software is quite intuitive and will be the best to use for beginners, I was happy to learn that the Update which installed over Wifi now allows support for remote printing on Orca and various other slicers, My only issue at the moment is when I turn off the power in the studio, on reboot next day it has a New IP Address, The slicers don't find the printer automatically so have to jot down the IP And manually enter it into the slicer to connect remotely, Not a big deal as I can set it up with a Static IP Once I get the hang of things. Just a minor inconvenience really, The bed calibration does kind of need redoing every other print otherwise there will be small imperfections on the first layer, It is no issue, as with coming from a manual printer this process is so much easier on the M5, But sofar its a really fast printer, Prints are good, Ive ordered the camera kit and enclosure kit so I'm keen to get started with the potential this printer has to offer.

After reading a lot of reviews on these I thought it would be a great starting point, especially as I don't want to print overnight. Packing was great, step by step instructions with installed test prints. First set up and printing. Amazed! Good quality prints very fast. I used orca, correct profile and default settings. Can't access Flashforge version as Web page returns 404 error. Couple days later, no alterations to printer or slicer and I get a heating warning. On inspection the nozzle was resting on the plate at a 45 degree angle. This also left deep gouges in the build plate. Amazon were fantastic and I purchased a new nozzle.... Fitted the nozzle as per instructions, switched on and factory reset printer. Ran calibration after reset and started a benchy, 3rd layer in and the machine beeps and I literally watch the extruder plunge into the bed again bending the nozzle. I don't know if this was a one off untill I searched nozzle snapping on adventurer 5m and it seem pretty common among reddit users. Opting for this instead of the Bambu lambs was in my case a bad idea. Has definately put me off Flashforge if purchasing further printers. Guess I'll wait to see how the bambu labs does. Not reccomended in my opinion. UPDATE Amazon and Flasjforge have been great, unfortunately still trying to pinpoint the issue , but CS from Flashforge is great, very responsive and helpfull.

This printer is really great. Make sure you install the app on your phone and register with them. Then install their slicer software from their site a login. After that me and my daughter have found it really easy to use and that it produces very good prints. Also be aware that filaments come in different types! PLA and PETG etc.

Fabulousfirst 3d printer for my 12 year old girl. Set up is a little nerve wracking sinply becuze its our first time. All easily explained. Only thing im confused with is linking her ipad. But im sure thats a me problem not the item's. Very satisfied.

La Flashforge Adventurer 5M es una impresora 3D que destaca por su gran velocidad, nivelación automática y facilidad de uso. Desde el primer momento imprime con muy buena calidad, la primera capa sale perfecta y no da quebraderos de cabeza. Ideal tanto para principiantes como para usuarios con algo más de experiencia que busquen rapidez y buenos resultados. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Es la primera impresora 3D que he tenido. Llevo aproximadamente 1 mes con ella y ya he hecho muchas piezas, grandes, pequeñas, mezclando colores y marcas de pla y todas ellas sin problema salvo 1 carrete negro que se me atascaba. Tras varios días de intentos (no nos engañemos, cuando tienes problemas es cuando aprendes) cambié a un negro de otra marca y fin de los problemas. Es relativamente rápida, aunque el tiempo siempre depende del slicer que uses y como lo configures. Las piezas, cuando aprendes de apreciar los detalles quedan muy bien, especialmente si puedes evitarte los soportes. El programa de android, flasmaker te permite ver la evolución de la pieza y sin ser fantástico, cumple. Puedes enviarle los ficheros por wifi. La cama tiene bien agarre y es magnética, de quita y pon, lo que viene muy bien. Solo echo en falta que pudiera imprimir algunas piezas de mayor tamaño. Está limitada a un cubo de 22cm. En caso de irse la luz, vuelve al punto donde se quedó. Para mi, es un 9. Para el 10, le falta que la funda del hilo no golpeara la tapa superior... Para que esto no ocurra hay que dejarla algo abierta.

Dans l'ensemble l'imprimante fonctionne bien. Je suis dans l'impossibilité de laisser une impression ce faire sans devoir observer en permanence que l'impression ne foire pas. Je ne sais pas si j'ai reçu une buse défectueuses mais jai foiré presque 80% de mes impressions jusque là (impression DL sur internet en conservant les paramètres et en respectant les consignes). La caméra n'est pas parfaite, je ne m'en sers pas la qualité ne permet pas une observation convenable.. mais elle a le mérite d'être là. Lauto-nivellement fonctionne bien. Le Plateau chauffant met du temps a chauffer (ce n'est qu'un détail). Rapport qualité/prix, je recommande.

5 modèles achetés de la même marque et toujours aussi ravi de l utilisation du produit. Très bonne machine simple d utilisation. Utilisée pour les novices comme les plus expérimentés, je recommande. Juste a noter qu avec l utilisation du PETG, prévoir le changement de buses si l on imprime pas mal !
