Very impressed
Really good and powerful and very quiet (although the zap when a fly hits it makes you jump till you get used to it). Its quite heavy so I haven't hung it but placed it above a kitchen cabinet out of the way. It works really well and is very sturdy. The blue light is a nice backlight to the kitchen! Overall a good cost effective way to get rid of flies.

Dealt with a scourge of flies most effectively (better than awful Raid)
End of Feb to beginning of Mar an unpleasant increase in flies. RAID made all of us (including dogs) feel quite ‘off’ despite following RAID instructions meticulously. Followed the review-trail (and whatever the algorithm throws at you for the purpose of sale), and found this light, plasticky but effective killing machine. The bottom reservoir was emptied twice in two days. Negligible impact on the electricity smart meter. It doesn’t necessarily kill flies completely; to dispatch them quickly, humanely you’ll have to check frequently. Makes quite an electric sound when a fly touches it.

Does the job!
Does the job. Good size and lightweight for hanging. Comes with a little brush for cleaning.Only reason for 4 stars is the power cable is in a silly position at the top.

I had a problem with fruit flies, but not anymore, thanks to the mosquito killer lamp that zaps the critters that then fall in the bottom and can be easily swept out and into the bin. This was a must buy as fruit flies and other flies can leave nasty bacteria on food. This will also get rid of gnats when the summer comes. This item is effective and is nice and lite with a handy carry handle. The unit is nice and quiet and the light is very pleasant and the bug's can't resist it. With the lights off it doubles up as a night light. Awesome catching frying power that does the job. Excellent product

Looks good and does work. The only annoying thing is that some flies are seemingly determined to avoid it whilst enjoying themselves in our kitchen. That is not the machine’s fault but the determination of the flies. We have decided that they are reincarnated and have come back to haunt us

Does zap but doesn’t attract well
It does zap the flys but they’re not exactly attracted to the light, maybe it’s not bright enough? As i sit here i have multiple flys in the room and have for some time whilst the light is on..
