This is a very pretty tissue box cover. It looks exactly like the photo and the texture is like canvas art. I was a bit hesitant to buy based on some reviews that said it was too small to fit a standard tissue box. Well, it fits the Kleenex Brand tissue box perfectly with 1/4" room to to spare on the sides and top of the box. Maybe some other brands of tissues are too big for this cover but not Kleenex Brand. I have it on my nightstand and the different shades of blue go perfectly with the blues and decor in my bedroom. I'm very happy with this purchase and the price and quality is very good.

First of all, Amazon made an error in structuring this review. They asked me to give stars for "softness" and "stretchiness" two qualities that HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH A TISSUE BOX COVER! I have reported this to Amazon, but had to "lie" and say I was returning it when I wasn't in order to speak to someone to report the problem. Amazon, you need to give customers a legitimate way to reach you to report problems such as these!But why am I not returning it? Because it is attractive, suits my needs, and in my particular circumstances, the box's weak points are not as significant as they may be to others with different circumstances. What do I mean? Well, the joints or seams are uneven and gape in some places, and the mini-tiles are carelessly placed at the edges. (Inside, you can see that they are glued on to something like compressed cardboard, and that "frame's" joints don't even touch in some places, which certainly raises the question of sturdiness.) But since I am putting this on a toilet top storage tray, the box is unlikely to be moved around and it is heavy enough that removing a tissue shouldn't lift it, both lessening the importance of sturdiness. Also, the more defective side that I choose to use as a back is against a wall and therefore not visible. Although there is a problem from a side view as well, my toilet has a side wall nearby, so that makes that mistake less visible, too. These two issues are made less important because the box is on a tray, and so it can't swivel into a position where these flaws show more. I think the problems may be more significant for people who might want to place it on a nightstand or on a vanity/sink counter, where there is a strong possibility that the box might move/swing around so that these flaws are more visible, making it significantly less attractive. Also, with the greater movement of the box, the poorly fitted joints may come apart more readily and thus not last a reasonable length of time, so more of a problem with lack of sturdiness, too.I've tried to upload two photos to show you what I've been describing. Both were right side up on my computer but show up on Amazon upside down. So, I rotated the photos 180 degrees on my computer, thinking that they'll now be right side up on Amazon. No. They are still upside down. I call Amazon. Again. Of course, the customer service rep doesn't know how to fix the technology, but he also doesn't know who he can transfer me to so I can get help in fixing it. He transferred to Supervisor who says there is no tech support for customers. (JEFF, ARE YOU READING THIS??!!) She is going to "escalate" the problem in the hopes that somebody at Amazon can fix it.I apologize if the photos are still upside down. I can only suggest, if you have a laptop, you turn it upside down. But in the hopes they can make them right side up, the following is written assuming you are seeing the photos right side up.In the first, I think the box looks pretty well made and "normal" on the tray. But in the second photo, especially if you can enlarge it a bit, you can see how the top/lid doesn't meet the bottom of the box, leaving a gap in the back right side. You can also see in the forward right "seam" how the tiles don't meet neatly.I hope the review and the photos help you decide whether, in your circumstances, to buy this tissue box cover or not.

It looks great, but a standard square tissue box doesn't fit under it, so I end up having to cut the top off of the box to fit it in. Maybe I was expecting too much to think the new box would just slide right in, no hassles? I got a matching holder for a spare toilet paper roll, and they look great together - a nice touch of class for your already classy bathroom or a nice distraction from your less than classy one (because we all fall behind on the housecleaning sometimes).

After having bought and returned 4 other tissue box covers, I can honestly say how extremely pleased I am with this one. I bought the blue one and the print and color is perfect. I was afraid it could be too bright and gaudy but the colors are muted while the details of the print still stand out. I can attest to the fact that it is well made. I have it in my living room on an end table and my cat has knocked it over several times while jumping over it and and it's still in perfect condition.This cover opens from the top where the latch is and holds many different size tissue boxes.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these tissue box covers were. I wanted two matching for one bedroom and didn't want to spend a fortune. I thought these fit a standard cube box of tissues but they didn't. The box went in fine but you couldn't close the lid. The outside measurements worked but the inside was too short. Not sure there is a box of tissues in the US they would fit. They would be better if the bottom was open and it just slipped over the box. I gave 3 stars because the quality was very nice but size wasn't. I returned them with no problem.

Cute tissue holder. Really like that it’s a box for the tissues to sit down inside and not just a cover that fits over the tissue box.

This tissue box is quite beautiful; we love the peacock pattern. And, unlike a few other purchasers, we had no issues with our boxes of tissues fitting. However, it took me nearly a month to discover that THIS particular box was the source of an extremely unpleasant smell in my Bathroom. Of course, Baths have unpleasant smells, but the scent for which I was searching did not belong there. Once the first box of tissues were used up, I opened the box to change them and bingo! I found the source. Unfortunately, I am well acquantainted with this particular scent since I have a teenage son going on for over10 years (moved out, but apparently still not house-broken). The stench was that of marajuana...and it was in the lining of this box. Gross, frankly. And shocking.

The edge broke off right out of the box. I subtracted two stars for this. It’s sad that we’ve become a society where we’re okay with poorly made goods and expect to have to make repairs on items we order online. As such, I’m an expert at using Gorilla Glue and it dried perfectly on the clean break.Wanted a capiz shell tissue box to coordinate with my 15+ year old nightstand lamps from Target. This was the best price I could find. It serves its purpose to look good and add weight so I can grab a tissue without holding down the box.
