DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo (3 Batteries), FPV Drones with Camera for Adults 4K, Immersive Experience, One-Push Acrobatics, Built-in Propeller Guard, 155° FOV, Drone Compliant with FAA Remote ID

At first I did not like this drone and felt I should have stuck with the conventional drones ( like my AUTEL 6k drone I crashed and replaced with this at half the price) and not gone with FVP - There are a couple of moves I love to do with the conventional drone I've not been able to master on this drone yet - But now I am finally mastering this drone , I have to say its s lot of fun, kind of like a video game experience if your into flying games. (Starfox is the last video game I played : giving away my age)PRO's A fair price / compact and easy to travel with - very little weight / an easy unit to start and get up in the sky / LOVE the on board memory - no fiddling around with cards, although you have that option / Very well constructed : hit a tree the drone fell over in the forest, I thought "it's a wrap" I double clicked the take off button, and the drone was on it's side I could see from the angle of the camera , and somehow this little sucker started up took flight, wrestled its way through branches and twigs etc and I managed to get it back in the sky and return home (impressive) so it's pretty indestructible in my experience thus far - a great design with the propellers being encased.CONS: because it is very light it feels like a cheap toy, but that may be also it's strength, but it does not handle windy skies like a heavier drone, when your flying it looks like it's wobbling around but when I check the footage it's not as bad so maybe there is some internal gimble thing happening that's adjusting for that. I can't seem to do a full Birdseye shot parallel to the ground without the camera filming a corner of the propellers in the shot.OVERALL : a great drone for the price and amazing for sports and flying like a jet pilot speeding towards a roof top and you can zoom right over the top accurately missing the roof by inches. Even with a 6k drone in my travel rig for the cinematic shots sweeping around spinning in a circle, while turning angles etc - this done has it's own applications so it's apple and oranges and there will be times you can fly this drone into one window of a house and out the other widow a lot easier than a larger drone. And the images are crisp . I will get my monies worth out this drone for sure = good job DJI

Damn near perfect. Occasional issue with goggles not connecting to controller but was fixed after a firmware update. The iOS DJI Fly app is horrendous but completely unneeded as the goggles do everything. Stable in high winds. Great range, even with power lines and no matter which way i face. Battery lasts as long as they promised. I like how it starts you on beginner mode before you switch to acto/sport mode. 4k recording is beautiful. Video log barely noticeable.

This is my first pricey drone ever purchased and First DJI product ever.. Let me first say this drone is fun, fast and probably one the best investments you can make for creating videos.. When you get the drone. Make sure you get the insurance with DJI because after a few crashes you will notice the drone is very strong. But the drone is not indestructible 😅 you crash if you fly for fun. I have had 4 replacements within the last year. If it was not for the insurance i would had to pay over $900 per new aircraft or whatever the repair costs are and i dont want to know what the costs are 😆. So before this purchase. I Have always purchased the cheap drones around $100 and below for fun. I originally got this drone because i am an aspiring actor, musician and content creator.. The camera on the drone is hard to beat when you combine the drones capabilities. The only problem is it will not record sound. What i did was purchase noise cancellation bluetooth mics for my phone under $10 and use a voice recording app.. When i edit my videos i just sync the sound with the video in adobe before i make any cuts. You cant even hear the drone 😊. We use the Avata 2 on search and rescue missions where we cannot see through thick vegetation from above with our other drones. The Avata 2 allows us to fly between branches and obstructions with precise control. This allows us to search areas that would be impossible, dangerous, or very difficult to search on foot. Compared to the DJI Neo the Avata 2 has about 5-10 more minutes battery life which gives us extra crucial search time. We have flown the Avata2 in a variety of lighting conditions and the camera quality is great. Wearing the DJI Goggles 3 gives us a large screen view of the area we are searching. We also like that we are able to stream our flight to another device that has DJI Fly on it or online to a server. That way a team mate can see what we are seeing or the Incident Command can get situational awareness by following our flight camera view online. Overall an awesome drone with outstanding features, control, and quality.
