These bulbs were bought for our uplighter. The original bulb had lasted for years, but I needed a new one and so bought this two pack as it was very cheap for two bulbs. This is the second pack I have bought, these were just to keep as spares. The first replacement bulb I used lasted almost exactly a year, so although they don't last as long as the original bulb, just over a pound a year seems good value for money and the bulbs are nice and bright too. I am now on the second bulb, so the spares won't be needed just yet.

When my previous halogen bulb blew I thought I would take the opportunity to change it with an LED - big mistake. I have no idea about how much electric they burn but as far as R7s are concerned I would suggest this bulb over an LED anytime. It’s giving better light and the dimmer switch works a lot better with it. These are by far the best value R7s halogen I could find which made me suspicious to begin with. If your the same don’t worry, they work a treat and the brightness is spot on.

Good product and great customer service

I ordered a pack of 2 light bulbs yesterday and was amazed when they arrived this morning in the post. The bulbs were very reasonably priced and postage (Royal Mail 24 hour) was free. I don't usually write reviews but was so impressed by MW Trading that I felt compelled to write this.

One was broken but we needed to fit 3 urgently so didn't return them but maybe check package before sending them out and wrap in bubble wrap
