Hang on - This is a chocolate favoured coating
These raisins were purchased to replace an itac Spanish product with a genuine 38% cocoa content for around the same price.The product information of these raisins is very unclear but I would estimate the chocolate content of the coating is very, very low. The actual % breakdown of the coating is not given anywhere on the packaging.Taste - The effect is very sickly leaving an oily aftertaste coupled with a very low melting point. It is a pity as the fruit used is a decent quality. I purchased a much larger 3KG bag of chocolate peanuts at the same time from another seller and hit the same problem but at least they were labelled with a 5% cocoa powder content (when they arrived).Result - they have cured my addiction to chocolate raisins. I ought to give these away but I cannot think of anybody I dislike enough to give them too so the bin looks the most likely option.

Not good
Very badly packaged in a flimsy plastic bag meaning this food product ended up in a non food cardboard box. In the UK there should be a best before date on packaging this is UK legislation but as you can see is not on packagingTaste was not good and the rainsins did not seem fresh. Overall a disappointing purchase which was an amazon choice

An insult to chocolate raisins!
Nope. Never again. These are the cheapest tasting chocolate raisins on earth. Fact. The raisins themselves are pretty inoffensive, but the chocolate tasted like you'd come upon an ancient, abandoned chocolate factory, swept up the contents of every floor, melted them down, and coated some raisins with the gag-inducing, detritus-strewn concoction. I can honestly say that I have never felt so let down by a chocolate raisin before. This product - and I can't stress this enough - is what is wrong with this world.The producers should really be taken to task by Trading Standards. Don't waste your money.

Ended up in the bin
Terrible ... these are pure sugar, so sweet that you won't be able to taste any chocolate ... and inside old sugary raisins ... there is so mach sugar in this product that you can feel sugar granulars underneath your teeth as you chew them ... I will never ever buy these again.... the whole package ended up in the bin

Major disappointment
These chocolate raisins are on my anything you've ever tasted before chocolate is disgusting this is my worst archers on Amazon after 3 years I suppose it had to come I am hugely disappointed yes I know it's only sweets but it was a treat for myself sulemani, Christopher J Mahoney

The worst I have ever tasted
If there was a 0 star option, I would be using it for the first time in a review.The description says: "Juicy raisins covered in a thick milk chocolae coating." This is untrue in every respect: raisins are often in pieces, not whole; raisins are dry and crunchy; chocolate or whatever it is, has the most strange consistency and is certainly not quality. Further information on the page talks of peanuts - be very careful if you have an allergy as I am reasonably sure you will find them in this product.Exceptionally poor quality product in every respect. Maybe trying to eat the bag would have been a better idea.No, I did not finish them, they went in the round filing cabinet otherwise known as the bin.

Large juicy raisins, chocolate flavour ok!
There are some really big raisins mixed with smaller ones. The chocolate coating melts very quickly and smoothly. However I had previously bought Belgian chocolate coated raisins and the flavour was a lot more superior to these.I would still purchase these as the price is a lot more reasonable especially if you eat a lot of them, which I do unfortunately!!!

not as ordered
went to sugar free chocolate page on amazon , purchased chocolate raisins when the arrived second ingredient is sugar. these should not have been listed on this page. i am diabetic and it could have caused many problems.
