4 stars for the product but an additional star for the customer service. Bought one of these about a year ago and loved it. small enough profile to fit into small spaces and do borescopes of engine cylinders. The picture quality was great, the dual lens and SD card slot very useful, as well as a good number of settings for a variety of situations. The LED with controllable brightness is great, however that failed about a year later. I reached out to their support email on their website with my Amazon order number and explained to them the situation along with picture proof that the LED was not working. They promptly responded and sent me a knew unit and followed up to make sure the replacement unit worked. The warranty is 24 months, and even the replacement is covered by the warranty. From initial email to receiving the replacement was about 3 days. The camera was cheap enough that I'd have likely just bought another, but the warranty and customer service is what stands out the most.

This is an easy to use scope. It has two cameras with the higher res camera on the end. The side camera has a closer focus than the end camera, so you can look at the sides of a pipe etc without being out of focus.The video is great and the screen is a good size.There is not a great deal to learn about using the camera and that is good because the instructions are not accurate. Additionally, there are no videos or online instructions when you scan the suggested QR Code. I wrote to Deptech and they plan to update all that. There is also no split screen option as the instructions suggest.In use however, it is easy to manipulate and the image is exceptionally clear. I like the variable light intensity, snd the ability to take photos and videos (you supply the micro SD card). I also like how the screen is easy to grip in one handFor the price, this is the best boroscope I have used (this is the third. )One star was removed because of the issue with the instructions.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this primarily to inspect household items such as A/C vents, duct works and drain lines and other hard to see areas where your eyesight can’t quite bend around the corners to see. Im sure it can be used in a variety of applications also.I filmed a short video clip to show the quality of the unit’s display. If you watched the video you could probably tell that I was taking a peek inside the dryer where the lint filter goes. And after seeing how much lint had accumulated there, I knew it was time to slide the dryer back and clean the dryer’s exhaust vent also. I’ve got a flexible tool with several attachments for that. I ran the camera up into the duct after I cleaned it and it looked good. I got a lot of lint out of it. But yeah, this is not bad for household use. And thanks to this camera I’ll be able to determine when the next cleaning is needed. I encourage everyone to take the time and clean the lint out of your dryer on a regular basis. It builds up quick and it can become a fire hazard.I’m impressed how quickly the unit powers up, and the clarity of the display is pretty good once the object your viewing gets in range of the camera and the camera can get it in focus. If you’re too close to an object with the camera, it’ll be too blurry ; and if you’re too far away with the camera from an object, the light won’t illuminate the object you’re attempting to view. So you gotta find that “goldilock” zone where the camera is not too close and the light is not too far, but where both the light and the camera is just the right distance away from the object so it’ll come into focus.Also, unless I lost it, I don’t think this came with the memory card to store photos on. I tried taking a photo with it and it said no card or something like that. But all in all, I think it’s a useful tool to add to the household to keep things checked out. Not a bad price either. I might even be able to take this at work and use it there….for a small nominal fee, of course.

Extremely satisfied with the camera picture size, resolution and functions. I used it to check for plumbing leaks and the endoscope worked perfectly with plenty of lighting to actually view some particular joints I was investigating. It saved me considerable time and energy and gave me reassurance that the problem I had encountered lay elsewhere!

The Depstech cameras are without the best value out there. The picture quality is awesome and they are very easy to use. The cables can be a bit long for my needs but I just keep the length I don’t need coiled up and work around it which is easy enough. I use the absolute crap out of them and have had the cables fail but the warranty is amazing and they have great communication during the process.
