Sterling Test Prep AP World History: Complete Content Review for AP Exam

I think it is a high quality supplementary book for someone self studying for the SAT World History exam. Why supplementary? This study guide is in a textbook format which fails to provide quick “fact-reference”. But it helps to form a deep understanding of the subject, but it will take precious time on writing notes from scratch. I used this book with No Bull Review by Jeremy and Harry Klaff. Definitely would recommend for someone who does not have a good quality foundation in the subject or, like me, likes using multiple study guides at the same time.

I am so disappointed that they aren’t any practice questions to accompany the review. Although the book appears comprehensive with all the required material, do not expect review questions. This book is curriculum only. Although I understand in retrospect that it didn’t advertise as having questions, I want others to also be aware.

My daughter really likes this book. Her teacher told me about Sterling Prep. I bought several prep titles from them and my daughter is using the books (which is nice to see) and she says that she likes studying from them. She is more confident with the material and better prepared fro class. The paper is good quality and overall, the books seems to have great content and are written well. The material seems very high quality and targeted to the audience. She definitely is getting good use of the books and I am happy that I discovered these books. Great value for my daughter's preparation for class and the exam.

Although this book is marketed as the 2020 version, it does NOT match the revised test format for 2020. Thus, about half the book is irrelevant, and the date ranges for the sections do not match the exam structure. This may have been a good resource for previous exams, but not for the 2019-20 school year. Very surprising that a test prep company does not seem to know that the exam format was substantially changed this year.

Great reveiw book for AP world history. Detailed with information about world history and still interesting and able to be understood. Teaches what I need to know for class and in preparation for the AP test. Table of contents is comprehensive with great coverage of the material in each chapter. Two of my friends that took the class and AP exam recommended this book to me and I am very happy. I use it for review of material covered in class and to read ahead so I understand the concepts before my class. I read the chapters again after we cover them and I am really retaining what I learn.

Great book for AP world history. Really makes the material understandable. Detailed content but not boring. I really like this book. My AP teacher agrees that the book covers all the material I need for the AP test.

I actually enjoyed reading and learning from this book. Well written and better than what my friends used to prepare for the exam. This book reinforced and enhanced what my class covered for world history. The content is the same as listed by College Board. A great prep book.

This book is packed with useful information. Organized well so I could understand the material. Gald I used this book to prep for AP world history. This is a great prep book. I am using another book from Sterling Prep to prepare for SAT chemistry and I like both books.

Easy to read and process the information for world history. Seems very complete as I compared it to the college board listing - all matches. This is giving me more confidence for class quizzes and my scores have improved. Great book.

Covers the content listed by college boards for AP world history in an interesting and clear manner. Recommend this book as I have been using it for class and for the AP. My understanding of the material and the relationship between events has really improved. Great supplement (substitute) for my textbook. Wish the authors of the text were as good as this writer.

Great content just as described by the college board. My friends and I used several books and this is the best by far. Covers all the content in an easy and interesting way. I felt good after the exam because I was well prepared, thanks to this book.
