Best sowing method = rapid groundcover!
Best way to plant: buy RV toilet paper and soak in a bucket of water til it's mush. Squeeze and stir til it's a mashed potato consistency. Add about 1/2 pound grass seed to 3-4 rolls of TP. Mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls on lawn bare spots. Or throw a handful down and stomp on it to spread it. No prep needed for ground if you are filling in small bare areas. If necessary, water with mist/low force to avoid washing seeds away. I did this 10 days ago. The TP is 50% invisible now and biodegrading fast. I have microclover coming up in sun, in shade, in clay soil. It's forming a green carpet already. (I tried sowing directly without TP the first time: birds ate nearly every seed I put down. TP was a huge success).

Amazingly easy way to make your yard look nice
Wonderful product. Every little while the crows come through and dig up portions of our lawn (for which I applaud their good taste, as I hate having a grass yard) Throwing down some seeds in the resulting dirt has been an incredibly simple way to gradually change the balance of our yard. The clover sprouts quickly but doesn't appear to be in much volume until a few months later. A year after starting the practice, our yard is very green and looks much healthier in addition to requiring much less mowing. The bees also like it, which I consider a win.

Perfect Fix for Lawn Dead Spots — Soft, Lush, and Fast Growing
Micro clover seeds have been a great solution for the dead spots in my yard. The clover grows in soft, lush, and beautifully green, giving my lawn a much healthier look. I spread the seeds right before a rain, and they sprouted and filled in very quickly. Super easy to establish and low effort. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple way to revive patchy areas.

Good mini white clover seeds make an attractive ground cover.
Most of the seeds came up but I had to redo some areas up to 2X or 3X to get coverage. I will do more bare spots in the spring and am pleased with the mini clover that came up.

Good
Took a while to pop up but with no watering or maintenance it comes back year after year, it lasts into winter as well.

Low sprouting rate
Even with regular watering, only about 25% sprouted. I like how it looks so I’m going to reseed vigorously next spring.
