I recently upgraded to this natural wood hair comb set, and I'm loving the difference it's made for my hair. The combs look pretty nice, they are wooden and fairly sturdy, especially for the price I would say they are a good deal. My main issue was that they did not work well for me with how thick my hair is The tines on the large comb are a bit too close together for me and on the brush they are not long enough. They would probably work better on my kids or lighter hair for sure. Either way, they seem nicely made.

My preferred type of brush is boar's hair combined with nylon, like the one side of the brush in this set, or at least I think it's boar's hair. Unfortunately, the description doesn't specify what the bristles are made of. That being said, they look like boars hair and seem to accomplish the same effect. The nylon bristles help grab all the hair instead of just brushing the top layer, which is great because my hair is really thick. I use the side without the nylon to smooth down the top layer. The comb is also pretty nice. It doesn't seem like it would be durable but hasn't broken yet. I love that these are all made of wood instead of plastic. I keep the comb and the brush in my desk at work so it's good that they are both small. Not sure what the little comb with the big teeth on one side is for though, perhaps that is a type of tool that is used on hair types other than mine. I almost can't believe that this set is only $6 and feel like that's a really great deal. I would recommend!

Wooden combs are ok, but I purchased for the bristle comb and the bristles all fall out when you use it.

I am not too big or a fan for the wooden combs but the slick back bristle one is amazing. It gets the pesky fly aways without a problem. You just need to add some product to your hair and then user the bristles. It is easy to clean and doesn’t pull out my hair. I like that the end comes to a point to help part my hair.
