Well it didn’t make the job easy but without this it would’ve been impossible. We garden and needed to build a few trellises for our climbing produce and this thing did the trick. It’s for some weight to it which is good because if you know basic physics, nothing without weight ever produced friction to drive something into an inert space without force which is produced by weight and energy. We have solid Texas soil which is basically organic concrete and this driver arose to the occasion and worked through the soil (my boyfriend’s biceps helped, too). It took a few dings to the top which I honestly think would be normal because of the force used to drive it but it’s definitely durable and easy enough for anybody to use it. I’d say use gloves that have a grip to them or cushion because you can feel the vibration once it hits the top of the post, but it’s not so bad that gloves are a must. This was only $30 which is less than the big box price and well worth the investment. Just get it already!

Gets the job done
I have used this 3 times now. Very sturdy and got the job done. This one was about half the price as the ones at Home depot

Works great
Happy with this item. It works great. Not too heavy. I am a 77 year old female. I don’t have any problems using it. Works better than the 12 lbs sledge hammer that I was using 😁

Lighter weight but perfectly able to do the job.
Works and not too heavy. Ideal for driving metal fence posts into the ground! I'm an old guy and this was perfect for me; not heavy and worked well.

Game changer!
I'm old and out of shape but still determined to do it myself. I started with a mallet and I have no words for the pain after that are appropriate here. This was so incredibly easy! Now, there is some weight to it, but it works to your advantage! The handles were comfortable. Easy to use, easier than a mallet by far!!! If only there was a tool this easy for those gosh darn clips! I call this a post hammer and I highly recommend it!
