This is the fourth Music of the Sphere chime purchased. When combined with the soprano, messo and alto chimes, it is like having an orchestra in your yard. The sound is so crisp and clear and the tones are heard long after the last breeze. No better chimes in the world

This is by far the NICEST wind chime I've ever owned. We hung her outside next to our front door and we hear the chimes throughout the day, lifting our moods. What a gorgeous piece. Hats off to the artists who have created this line. The highest quality wind chimes EVER.

I listened to these chimes (Chinese scale) in the alto range, but liked the price of the tenor. I hung them from a large backyard tree limb, with a simple pulley system (two little pulleys), some strong black poly rope, and a boat cleat fastened to the backside of the tree. This way, I can easily lower them to take off the windcatcher if it gets too windy. As for the chimes, they've got the beautiful "happy" sound of the Chinese scale that can easily be heard thoughout my entire yard and beyond. Even a very slight breeze will activate the chimes, whose notes sometimes sustain beyond a minute. An accessory to consider is one of the smaller windcatchers for breezy days or nights, easily interchanged with the larger one it comes with.
