I’ve gone through a lot of folding utility knives over the years, and this Klein FLICKBLADE is hands-down one of the best designs yet. The action is smooth and solid — it opens easily with one hand, locks firmly, and feels secure in use. I really like the 2-in-1 setup: you get a standard utility blade on one end and a knife blade on the other, which saves time switching tools on the job. Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Klein — heavy-duty, no cheap parts, and the handle has a comfortable, grippy feel even when your hands are sweaty or gloved. Blade changes are quick and don’t require any tools, which is a big plus. If you’re an electrician, HVAC tech, or just want a tough everyday carry knife for work, this thing delivers. It’s not flashy, just extremely practical and built to last.

100% recommend! Its the perfect size for me (as a female) Unseen once clipped to my waistband. Lightweight, but with great quality. smooth and easy flick open. I work with lots of different carboard boxes and its a necessity to have a one-handed quick release to stay the most efficient when breaking/cutting down all the boxes. Klein has always been one of my go-to's. Good prices, durable, and it's a bonus that my favorite color is orange!

The Klein Tools 44304 Folding FLICKBLADE Utility Knife has quickly become one of my favorite tools to carry. The build quality is excellent — solid, durable, and it feels great in the hand. The blade change is smooth and easy, and the folding design makes it safe and convenient to pocket when not in use. It’s held up well on the job, handling everything from cutting drywall to opening boxes without any issues. The added bit holder is a nice touch for quick tasks. My only small gripe is that it would’ve been really handy if Klein included a flat head bit along with the knife. The Phillips bit is useful, but having both would make it even more versatile right out of the box. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-designed utility knife that I’d definitely recommend!

I love my Milwaulkee Fastback, both the box cutter and knife versions. But it was time to replace, and I was excited to try the cheaper version by Klein. I love Klein tools, and it is a quality tool. Good weight, good build quality, but I'm not sure why it exists. It's not an electrician's EDC, it's just a different version of the Fastback. The Klein blade locks at both 180 and 135 degrees, which is more helpful than I'd thought. It's ergonomic for long vertical cuts. The bit holder separates into two sections, so I guess you could put part of it into a drill? It is impact rated. You could get a crescent wrench in there if you really needed to torque down? I'm, not sure why that's helpful. The biggest disappointment is the bit is just Phillips #2, no flathead. Curious for an electrical brand, where flatheads are so common.

I love these knives. They are nice and sharp and as an added bonus I always have a screw driver with me at all times. The bit can be chucked in my drill or impact too which is a nice feature when you are on the job and don't want to be digging through your pockets for the bit that you need. It also will turn quarter inch zip screws with a magnet that keeps the fastener in place until you are ready to install it. I wish NY did not limit sales of products like these because I would buy so much more from Amazon for my business without these silly restrictions. But fortunately we have operations in other states where we can buy in bulk when needed.

I’m very impressed with this product! Personally I have always been strictly Milwaukee, however this time as I was scrolling this Klein Knife caught my eye and I purchased 2, one for myself & one for my co-worker. The quality, lightness, and the price you cannot get any better. The flip out of the blade is easy and flawless to get the tasks done efficiently without delay. I absolutely love the clip for the pocket or belt because it doesn’t get snagged nor is it too tight as you need to easily access it. Everything about the design and quality is awesome. It’s safe and easy to use.
