Displex Display Polish - Scratch Remover

Did the job

bought this for my Nintendo 3ds top screen and i was expecting it basically to be like a screen wash with fine particles to gently remove the scratches but all this did was within 1 minute of polishing the scratch it left a horrible light spot on my screen and the scratch wasn't gone. I then had to polish all the screen until it was the same color as it looked horrible. it took me a good hour to do this and basically the whole tube of displex and it didn't reach the corners so its rounded in the corners when looking in a light. it removed the small scratch but a slightly longer faint scratch was still there so i just left it as my tube was gone. wish i didst buy it or use it on my ds screen for the sake of scratches. i am used to it now as you don't see the corners when playing and the scratch is slightly reduced although when i first applied and wiped the displex off it scared me and i thought i was going to buy a new ds or get the screen repaired but luckily with a lot of rubbing it is all the same color now apart from the corners where i couldn't reach.i would say dont buy this because you will regret it although it does reduce scratches but makes the screen look pretty horrible. which would you rather had a few scratches or possibly a horrible screen.

It does work but requires a lot of rubbing to get a good result, obviously it depends upon the damage, i.e. on my laptop there were scuff marks on the screen bezel where the rubber bump stops around the keyboard were chaffing, it got rid of those OK, however a mobile phone screen was moderately marked and only polished the marks.

Having read other reviews regarding this product I was 50/50 as to purchasing this product.I have recently tried to get a replacement cover for my well used and scratched I-pod classic, only to find out that a new cover is no longer available, therefore I looked around for something that I could use to try and remove some of the scratches.After reading reviews i decided to try Displex Display Polish - Each to their own - and for me its a 10/10.99% of the scratches have vanished completely with a soft cloth and the minimum of effort.Well pleased.

Wholesaleprice-UK supplied the polish. It arrived VERY quickly, BUT did not include the polishing cloth described. This may explain why the polish does not work anywhere near as well as some reviewers claim. I used it on an old Nokia 6700 screen. It does have some effect, but you have to polish hard and long. Even so, the effect is more of 'shiny scratches' than a scratch free surface. This non-removal applies to what seem to be quite minor surface marks as well as the deeper scratches. Do not expect this polish to get it back to anything like original condition.

I bought a second hand PSP few weeks back. The screen has some light scratches on it. There are some visible lines when the screen is on but nothing horrible like deep grooves or hard scratches. So I bought this product and tried it out. I applied Displex to the LCD screen panel as suggested on Displex website. No matter how hard I tried to polish the screen with displex it didn't work. Those light scratches didn't even change at all. Everything stays the same.It's an utterly trashy product don't trust those demonstration clips on their website or any clips on youtube it never works.

I was dubious this would work with it being so low in cost but worked a treat on a mildly scratched sat nav screen.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! After looking into this product I decided to ignore the bad reviews and go with it. What a waste of time and money. It doesn't work at all not even a smidge. Used it on my LG LCD TV after my 3 yr old took a metal hair pin to it the scratches do not disturb the picture quality but being a perfectionist I wanted them gone. It didn't make a slight difference. So I used it on my phone on a tiny tiny superficial scratch that u can't see unless u really look hard and it didnt do anything to it. Even used a micro fiber cloth like everyone else was sayin to use don't waste ur money. If it wasn't so cheap I'd be rallying for a refundthe seller however was swift arrived before the estimated delivery day... However the instructions are all in german so you have to google how to use it!
