A. W. Tozer: Three Spiritual Classics in One Volume: The Knowledge of the Holy, The Pursuit of God, and God's Pursuit of Man

I originally only wanted one of the AW Tozer books but found that was a better deal to buy a 3 in 1 books. I was interested in the Knowledge of the Holy but am definitely interested in reading the other. I am enjoying the writing style and find it thought provoking. Great for any Christian who is growing in their walk and in understanding the love of God.

It is difficult or maybe even impossible to over-state how powerful, important and necessary it is for Christians and even honest, searching non-Christians to grasp Tozer's. Its not hard to understand. But it IS incredibly powerful and can redeem the Christian faith from its present divisions, confusions, and the weak "gospel" it too often preaches. The church today has a candy-land fantasy about WHAT God is. We all know that God is a being and not just an object or thing. But He does have attributes that set him totally apart from that which He created. God is HOLY. There are only two categories of existence in all of reality: 1.) God and 2.) EVERYTHING else (i.e. NOT God). Until we come to the realization of the nature of God, we cannot know Him well. The most important thing about God is that He is utterly transcendent over all things. He is beyond the limited reality observed in our physical universe. He is the one who caused, in all of its magnificence and depth, the existence of this entire universe. T he church today has forgotten WHAT God is and tend to worship a false image, reducing God to something more like Santa Clause who, as we tell our children, "knows when you are sleeping and knows when you wake; He knows if you been good or bad so be good for goodness sake". What a pitiful and weak image of the one and only eternal, infinite, transcendent and HOLY (which means, "separate") God who revealed Himself in His word - both written and incarnated in our Lord Jesus Christ. Having read Tozer for years, and recommending two of his best books (Pursuit and Knowledge) more times than I can count, I now only need recommend this one volume for people. Yet, for new Christians they may be akin to jumping in the deep end of the pool as a new swimmer. For those Christians who have begun the journey of discipleship this book is a faithful companion to keep with the Bible. Knowledge of the Holy is Tozer’s defining work on the attributes of God, no other author I have read comes close. The Pursuit of God has been read by me over forty times in my lifetime, and it still moves me. $15 price is a steal for these three amazing books in one, and I highly recommend.

This triple publication is the best work of AW Tozer and is a must have for any Christian.

I can only thank God for what he deposited in AW Tozer’s heart. This book is so dense with biblical truth. It is good for mature and baby Christians because it covers and answer lots of biblical hard topics or objections. Must Have!

This book is good quality! On top of that, it's been one of the most influential books in my spiritual development other than the Bible! Highly recommended!

I was thrilled to find “The Knowledge of the Holy” offered by a well-known publisher. I’d already begun reading a printable PDF from an online source. But this is so much better, and worth the price. The inclusion of two other of Tozer’s works is, of course, a bonus. And an endorsement by Tony Evans is the cherry on top. I’m really getting a better understanding from this book. I highly recommend it.

A.W. Tozer is well known as a Christian Classic. This is an awesome 3 Spiritual classics in 1 volume. I strongly recommend this book.

I haven’t had the opportunity to read this book yet, but it’s always a deep blessing to explore the writings of great godly men. The three-in-one format is extraordinary, with inspiring titles that instantly drew my attention. I’m excited to start reading it, though I need to finish my other Christian books first. Without a doubt, it promises to be an enriching and spiritually uplifting experience.
