Pacific Breeze Easy Setup Beach Tent, SPF 50+ Pop Up Beach Tent Provides shelter from The Sun for 4+ People

Very impressed with this beach tent. I researched multiple options on Amazon, reading reviews, etc. I picked this one and am very satisfied as it met my expectations and more after our trip last week. It was used for 3 days at the beach, along with a test deployment prior to the trip and also putting it up in the backyard to hose sand off after the trip.Prior to buying, the attributes I was seeking were: lightweight, ease of deploying it/taking it down, reasonable space/shade providedThis tent provided all of those to my great satisfaction.The size worked great for us, as my family only needed it for breaks to eat lunch, dry off to apply more sunscreen, and to get some shade for myself, as my wife stays in the sun nearly 100% of the time. We had our beach bags in it, along with a cooler, and my beach chair. My two kids (5 and 8 currently) fit in there fine, while I had myself and the aforementioned items in there.The ease of putting it up and taking it down, along with the light weight, were excellent features. For me, it was very easy to deploy and even easier to take down. The tent was held down adequately by the integrated sandbag pouches, but I also had the cooler holding one side down and put our beach wagon on top of the other side's sandbag pouch to ensure it didn't go anywhere. I never bothered with stakes, and we had no issues in pretty substantial, consistent wind.I could imagine how people could break the folding, locking legs at the front as some have mentioned in their reviews, but thePacific Breeze EasyUp Beach Tent Deluxe XLy might have been somewhat impatient, as I found them easy to use and just have to not force things. It is feasible they could be built stronger, but as a mechanical engineer, I design and purposely break things all the time, so I think those leg joints are adequate and work solidly.The little mesh pouch inside came in handy, and the window flaps were easy to use. I'm seeing pretty good construction for this thing and if you aren't throwing it around, I imagine it lasting easily for the casual beach-goer/sports parent. After seeing multiple broken pop-up canopy frames at the beach all week, I'm glad I went with this beach tent at a fraction of the weight while being easily-managed solo.I can't speak to its' long-term durability and use over multiple seasons, but I didn't see anything blatant that had me worried. First update: we just received this today and intend on using it primarily for the beach. We gave it a test pitch on the front lawn not too long ago, that way we dont look goofy trying to pitch this tent on the beach for the first time.. anyways must I say it literally took SECONDS to pop this thing up by myself. No fumbling with pipes or rods or clamps, just an all in one SUPER SIMPLE mechanism designed to make your life easier... literally 3 steps and your family is beach ready and good to go! Take down was a cinch as well just simply reverse the steps.I read the tag that came with the tent that this is a small mom and pop company. Well if thats true then these people deserve an award. They have designed a product that eliminates all the frustration of erecting traditional tents. No more connecting rods, etc.. making it even easier for families to get out and enjoy the outdoors..This thing is LIGHT!! Comes with a handy bag with a tie to secure the tent closed once it's rolled up. I LOVE how the instructions is actually SEWED ON THE CARRY CASE! No more losing the instructions, so if you ever lend it to someone, there is no need to explain how to use it.Thats all for now, will update more about the durability and the experience we had with the tent once we use it at the beach.BEACH UPDATE: WOW! We have been on the beach for a few days now and we set up every morning, leave it up all day and take down every night. This thing is A BEAST!!!! Super fast setup like 1... 2.. 3.. pop.. its up. Sand bags are epic!! Love the windows, can cover them when babies are breaking for lunch. Windy conditions are no match for this tent if positioned properly.. holding up very nice!! Pockets are great for phones, lotions, etc.. Great investment hands down!! You wont be disappointed.
