Hard to find typewriter ribbon
This is a good ribbon, all inked up and ready to go. It's kinda hard to find typewriter ribbons these days, and typewriters are becoming collectable and desirable again. This is much better than trying to re-ink the existing ribbons in the typewriters. And it's lovely to have a fresh ribbon in the typewriter--I'd forgotten how nice that is.

On a plastic spool and the ribbon wasn’t that wet.😞

Not for Olivetti Lettera 32
My experience with the Universal Typewriter Ribbon Twin Spool Replacement was a bit of a mixed bag. While it's marketed as compatible with most typewriters, I encountered some compatibility issues with my Olivetti Lettera 32.The main problem lies with the spools—they're too thick to fit correctly in my typewriter. I struggled to thread the thumb nut over them, and they lacked the triangular recess at the bottom necessary to accept the mandrel base. As a result, I wasn't able to use them as intended.However, it's not all bad news. Despite the unusable spools for my machine, I found a workaround by transferring the tape to my older spools. This allowed me to salvage the ribbon and still use it, albeit with some extra effort.Overall, while the Universal Typewriter Ribbon shows potential for compatibility with various machines, it's worth double-checking the specifications to ensure it's suitable for your specific typewriter model.
