Best ant bait EVER
The literal BEST ant bait out there. Did you know not all ants eat sugar?! I bought this after nothing was working on certain ant types in my house and it works so fast and works on every type of ant. It’s super easy to use, you don’t have to touch any of the bait, and it’s perfect for every house to have.

It gets rid of them.
I was told not to use them inside by my bug guy. he comes once a month & we don't use chemicals & we live in high desert & we don't want roaches or any crawlers to attract scorpions. But the bait really attracts the ants. And it does eventually kill the queen which is what has to happen otherwise she'll just keep making more workers. It took 3 days to have the workers bring it to the queen. But I can see how I would not want to put it inside, it does work. I had a bird feeder up and the birds just kept dropping those seeds and that had big black ants that enjoyed them, too. I tried everything but couldn't get rid of them. I finally had to take my bird feeder down after all the ants were gone. It took a few days because the black ants had plenty of seeds. I also found a pocket if tiny amts g forming in the bottom of a sage bush. Put one there too ..gone in a day.

Got the job done
I have to say they worked even if it took longer than I expected. Within a few days I started noticing fewer ants, and then by the next week I saw none which surprised and delighted me. But then the next month I started seeing a stray ant here and there which also surprised me since I never removed the bait stations. I repositioned them a little bit and waited, and by the next week they were gone again. I've left the bait stations in place ever since just in case, and I haven't had any further ants crawling around. The stations are easy to use: just put them along baseboards or wherever you see ants, and leave them be. Cleanup is simply picking them up and throwing them away. I do have pets so I kept them away from these just in case, but I didn't see any residue or stickiness on the bait stations themselves. For all the headache of dealing with ants, this was a pretty cheap and effective solution, even if a little delayed. Next year I'll probably buy more and preemptively set them around to stay ahead of any future nuisances.

Small, Unobtrusive, and Very Effective
I had been using the TERRO outdoor liquid bait stations, but I didn’t like how large and noticeable they looked. These Combat bait stations are much smaller, and the color blends in well, so they don’t stand out. The effectiveness was impressive. I placed them where the ants were coming in, and by the next day the ants were completely gone. For something this compact and discreet, the results were excellent. I’m very satisfied with how well these worked and how unobtrusive they are.

I didn't have to call an exterminator.
For two days I watched army's of ants troll from my cupboard to the sink, growing bigger by the hour. I tried diatomaceous earth, boric acid and other baits but nothing worked. Everything in my cupboard is sealed in either bottles, jars, or baggies so they were frustrated and hungry. The second I put down the Combat 2 in 1 ant bait station, it was a feeding frenzy. Those pests were coming from everywhere. It looked like the concession stands at halftime during the Superbowl! I couldn't help but stand there in awe. The second station I put near the window where I thought they were coming in, then I decided to go to bed. By morning it was pretty much over. Only a few scouts were roaming around trying to figure out what happened. The bait was almost empty and the hundreds of ants had all expired with full bellies. After a quick vacuum and sanitize wipe down I was a happy camper. Thank you Combat!

Old Dried Out Bait Stations
Unfortunately, my experience with this product was NOT one of success. For over 30 years, I have used an environmentally responsible method of a water, sugar, and powdered borax soap solution, and it has never failed to quickly eliminate an ant problem. As suggested by a friend, I purchased this 4 bait station product and deployed all four stations. After activating each station, the entry point of each was jagged, and definitely not a welcome pass through for the ants, but they are industrious, so I waited, only to observe that over numerous days, few if any actually entered the station, thereby rendering the intended outcome totally ineffective. I next tried to move some of the bait closer to the entry point, but no luck with that. Ultimately, I decided to open up the station, remove the bait and present that to be consumed by the ants, but upon getting the bait waifer, (disc) out of the trap, I discovered that it was hard as a rock. There was nothing moist at all about it. In order to get it into any possible form that might be consumed or carried back to a nest, I had to cover the disc with a paper towel and repeatedly pound it with a hammer to reduce it to a form that might be consumed or transported. My conclusion is that I was sold an old product, with dried out bait stations's that would never have had any chance of being effective. After dismantling the stations in a final attempt to render them effective, I would not expect to be able to return them. Also, there is no dating on the box that would indicate when the product, or even this particular run of the product, was manufactured, or an expiration date of its efficacy. While I did read reviews of success with this product, mine could not be one of them.

Most of the bait stations are unusable, but the active ingredient works well for sugar ants
Three of the bait stations broke off in the wrong place, rendering them unusable. Please find a better way to activate these stations because I can only use one of them. Will have to find a different brand. Update: I’m revising my original review from one star to three stars. While three of them broke in the wrong place as mentioned above, the one that broke correctly worked really well. So I decided to move the one bait station around the house to take care of all the ant colonies. Bottom line, it works, but COMBAT: please fix your bait stations so they can all be used. For customers like me, maybe it would be best to buy Fipronil and use empty bait stations that you fill yourself. NOTE: These work well for sugar ants. They may not work for all types of ants.

Got rid of minor ant problem quickly.
Had a minor ant problem in my 2nd floor living room, this spring. (In apartments, you often get other people's bugs, especially from first floor units.) I put two baits behind the sofa and two under the cushions, and the ants were gone in week or two. I was careful to remove the baits when I had a visiting dog. Never use baits if you have a curious dog or cat or an active infant or toddler.
