I discovered a marinade based on this, and using Flanken style thinly slice Beef Rib makes for the most Beefy tasting 'steaks'. I find them better than my former favorite Beef Ribeye. Those Flanken style will be one of the more expensive cuts, and a little hard to find, Choice if possible. You will want ones with a LOT of meat on one side. Not the typical Beefback Short Ribs. A butcher will know what you are looking for.
