Installation was routine, no surprises. The provided refrigeration lines and air handler held a vacuum well and the compressor was precharged. All HVAC require a shut off box in view of the unit, hence the reason a “power cord” is not included, but everything else is. Charging was $544. in VA. It requires a dedicated 20 amp and 12/2 wire, which I had installed for $594. Don’t think you can just plug this into a wall socket with 14/2 and 15 amp, as it will trip it. The good news is it’s powerful beyond its spec. I’ve used only heating thus far and it is surprising hot, especially on the “super” setting. The compressor is unusually quiet, they claim 29 decibels and I would agree. Software is sophisticated with a slow start, defrost programs and timer functions. It has wifi features which I haven’t tried, as I don’t need them. Inexpensive unit that works well.

Unit was easy to install, contacted seller for product support and have not gotten a response in over 2 weeks. The unit ran properly for 3 weeks, then stopped cooling entirely. I have completed every option for troubleshooting the problem, and nothing has changed.Very unhappy with this product, and lack of customer support. I will be pursuing a replacement/refund.

Best purchase I've made this year! I bought two because I've been hearing a lot of good things, my HVAC system would cost way too much to replace right now, so I figured this would be a good alternative to hold me off and provide additional comfort once the system was replaced. These two together work better than my system ever has, I put one upstairs and one downstairs and my whole house feels amazing!!! The very first night my son complained it was too cold, we've got them running at 74 and it feels great! There's barely any noise, I almost wish I had it in my room because it has a slight white noise to it, it looks great, and I like the swing arm function, it's awesome to be able to pick where you want the air to hit. The one in my downstairs area actually can point right at my sectional couch, but when it gets too cold I'm able to adjust it and point the air up at our ceiling fan to more evenly distribute the cooling and take the focus off the sectional couch. 500$ is the crazy part to me, it would have absolutely seemed like a lot of money before I got quotes on replacing my system, the lowest amount I was quoted from a handyman was $7000, from a professional company $15,000, with the price of installation I spent $1400 all together on 2 splits!!! Love it!

Took a chance and so far the unit is working great. Both the heating and cooling. The head arrived first and the next day the rest of the unit. I already own a Mr Cool unit and this is almost a copy of that. The only thing that made this unit seem cheaper is the plastic on the inside unit seemed a bit cheap. I did have to purchase a vacuum pump (150 bucks)that added to the price to install it but did not mind. There is a slight possibility I might purchase another one if this unit remains problem free. Also this unit is almost 3 times cheaper than the Mr Cool unit I purchased.This is a follow up review. As far as the unit working after almost 8 months of service no complaints but cleaning the blower have fun I didn't. I have keep the washable filters clean but I made a mistake of getting a flashlight and looking up into the inside units blower and wow it was black and caked on dust. The blower when clean is blue. I am not going to explain how to get up in there just look it up and watch some Youtube videos. I should of took pictures. My main problem is it should be a easy way to get to the blower and clean it and there isn't. Taking away one star. Also the MrCool unit I have has the same problem and was real bad after almost 2 years of service and almost no easy way to get to the blower.

I have purchased and installed three of these! What a great value for the money. They are very quiet, easy to install and heat and cool like crazy. Also, they are efficient. One improvement could be to the remote control… It is a little bit difficult to understand some of the controls. Overall, a great product and I would buy again.

I bought a split unit and it was defective. I spoke with the company and they did refund me the entire amount. In the future I will buy it from you again. Much appreciated. A happy customer. 😃
