The rust appears very quickly
Sturdy and good pegs, but the rust appeared within few days only. Those that I used temporarily in some places were removed completely rust. If the rust appears so rapidly I am not sure how long they will last.

Nice Pins
I had three different sets of garden pins or staples, and these were the best and most consistent in "build" quality. The ends are cut better which makes it easier to puncture the garden weed membrane.In the end I bought two sets of these.

Great for pinning down hoses
These are just the job for securely holding hosepipe in the right place along the ground. They do rust, and at 10p each, they're not fantastically cheap but they do make life easier. Much better than some of the plastic clips specifically made for holding hose.

They don't work for me
I used loads of these pegging down some plastic ground sheeting in my food forest (like an orchard) when clearing weeds. They're simple enough to apply properly - give them a little squeeze as you put them in the ground so that the force of the pins expanding keeps them in the soil, but so many of them have popped up and started to rust it's ridiculous.I strongly recommend instead the plastic pegs with barbs coming out of the sides - they work much better - my only concern with them is how recycle-able they are due to them being black plastic.

Good quality and does the job!
Lovely sturdy pegs, I'd recommend these. They are better quality than I was expecting so I'm happy! So far I've used them to peg in my greenhouse drip irrigation, and I'll use others to secure my Guinea pigs/rabbits modular runs into the ground to stop them running off!
