Awesome curtain tracks
These look really great, in fact I like them so much that I'm replacing the ones that I had with these (Ikea Vidga).I am installing mine flat, so I can't really offer my experience with bending them, which is I understand the primary reason people buy them.200 cm come with 24 gliders, 150 cm come with 20 gliders and 350 come with 36 or 38 (sorry forgot). I did order more gliders. There is a glider fixed on each end (I counted them), and the pair of gliders in the middle have magnets. There are also curtain rods provided (2 with each rod you buy). They can be easily cut if needed (aluminum so you will need a saw for metal). In terms of installation, I mounted some on the provided brackets, and some on double brackets I bought separately. I installed them both ways, either by clicking them on the brackets on the ceiling or by first connecting them with bracket and then screwing the whole contraption...I found the first method easier because in the second method you need to move the bracket to align with the hole. The biggest tip is to check the bracket and whether the plastic bit moves so that it can click when you put in the track. If not, loosen the screw a bit.May I take this opportunity to warmly recommend a proper drill if you are drilling new holes in concrete? I got annoyed with the existing drill and bought a hammer rotary one, Bosch PBH 2100 RE Rotary Hammer Drill.I managed to drill new holes, install a pair of these (2x2m) and put up curtains in less than an hour. In my book, that is success. And, everything glides and looks beautiful :)))))

Smooth and snug against the ceiling
Great rail with a choice on wall or ceiling install options. We have our snug against the ceiling to limit the light that sneaks in. Easy to install and smooth to use

Quite flimsy, don't draw very well, fiddly to put up

Hard work
I have a lot of large bay windows which require 90 degree bends and having researched the alternatives, this seemed a good option. The track itself is easy enough to bend and once bent, does not spew out the hooks as you try and pull the curtain round the bend as previous other tracks have done. However, it is almost impossible to hang. I tried, and failed. The builders tried, and cursed! The main problem is the way it attaches to the brackets. It is supposed to clip into the brackets, which works fine as long as the piece you are using is straight. As soon as you've bent it and it's no longer quite perfect, it's almost impossible to clip in and requires quite a lot of physical strength and manipulation. The brackets themselves have strong springs in them which are constantly springing back as you try and ram the track in - also holding them open means that you only really have one hand to work with. The way the brackets are designed also means that you can't take the bracket off the wall, attach it to the track and then screw it back on the wall (which would have made it much easier for the really tricky bits. A couple of other niggles are that: the brackets aren't rigid at the right angle, so if you've got really heavy curtains they bend down; and the piece at the end of the track which stops the curtains from coming off, is held on by a screw tightened at the back - so if you need to add more rings etc, you have to take the track down to loosen the screw - poor design! I've bought 3 of these in total and each has been a nightmare - leave at least 2 -3 to put one up (one took me half a day) - or get in a professional.
