Great for cats who aren't eating well
I use this for my 19 year old cat who has CKD. It's a great way to get calories into him. It's highly digestible my elderly cat accepts it easily and I use it for any of my other cats if they have been under the weather or off their food. It's great to have on hand at all times as part of your animal first aid kit.

Important for pets with kidney failure
I’m giving this four stars to reflect concern about the high price. It’s basically chicken soup with electrolytes etc for cats and dogs. I dilute it when for regular top up of liquid. What’s important is that this is for pets in renal or kidney failure. So it is important if they need regular fluids if they have diarrhoea or aren’t drinking a lot. My dog just loves this and diluted does the trick.

Works well and quick!
Super useful item! When my cat had a litter of 2 in August, they nursed well, but when they turned 4 and 4.5 weeks old, they started to eat solid food. I usually introduce the kittens to different foods too, so once they are at their new home, their tummy will be fine and if they change food, they will not going to have runny poop. However, the boy (1 girl and 1 boy in the litter) had very sensitive tummy and unfortunately he did not handle the change of food well. He showed signs of dehydration and I was worried. I ordered this alongside with a paste to firm his poop and within less than 2 days, there was no more sign of dehydration! Luckily the little boy's appetite didn't go, especially for treats. He refused to drink it on its own, but had it if I mixed it with his favourite licky treat or food. I'm really pleased with this and hopefully I will not need it but if I do, I will definitely order it again.

Strong smell - not liked by patient!
Cat tried it once but wouldn't touch it again. Worth a try as all cats are different.

Excellent hydration option for kidney/urinary cats
Excellent option for urinary or kidney cats in need of boosted hydration. (I am a vet). Sadly my kidney cat was too fast in decline, but it's sibling really enjoys (and she is a urinary cat).

Great nutrition
Ok I’ve read reviews, however I bought this for a 18 yr old cat post ear removal surgery that I didn’t expect to survive the anesthesia. She did! Don’t expect your cat to ‘lap it up’ but it is a vital hydration after surgery & for sick cats. You may have to syringe it and my cat let me without a problem and indeed looks forward to it. That is the nature no doubt of a cat indeed in that you have to help them along the way! And this is just the job! But please have patience and give by syringe should it be necessary x
