As mentioned in other reviews, this item does run small. Their size chart is not accurate. Their size chart says an XXL hip size is 26 inches. That is not correct. The average size for XXL hip size is 45-47 inches. I ordered the XXL, and it fits like an XL. The fabric is very stretchy length wise. So, if you are about 5"7", which is my height, or taller these will fit. They do not stretch very "wide". Check the size chart for your hip size, and order one, or two sizes larger. I ordered it in white, and you cannot see through it. The fabric has a nice sheen to it, so they do look very nice. You could wear them out as "tights". I just wish they were more true to size. I ordered this two sizes larger than the shorts I have from the same company, which fit perfectly. The pants were still too small. Good quality, but unwearable because of size.

I have purchased this brand before and left glowing reviews. These were on sale for $17 and I think I know why. They are super cheapie and not the same quality as other items in this line. The large looks like they are an adult size small. The waist is a good 5 inches smaller than an older size large product I have from this vendor. Size up! My waist is 32 to 34 inches depending on where are the band hits and I could hear the stitches busting. I ordered it because it was on sale but I was away on vacation and missed the return window. In my photo, the top blue item is the private island large. The teal leggings are a size large Danskin from Costco which is way bigger than this item. If the vendor would like to contact me and accept a return I will definitely improve my experience rating for customer service

I have a wardrobe of items from this line of clothing. I am unable to go out in the sun, so I wear them all the time (I'm the pool and the ocean). I love it because i can put matching jacket on wear in the ocean, dry off and then wear in into the market. Material is thic, washes well without fading, and dries quickly. I can wear them to work out, shopping, around the house. They are the only ones made for plus size women that fit very well. They are worth the money.

My daughter is big for her age. She is 8 but is more like a 12 yr old in size. I am 5'10', hubby is 6'7"She is 4'11" and around 100 lbs. She wears a "big kid" 14 or small adult.These are SUPER TINY. I would put these at a "big kid" small to medium and a 00 for women's size.I will reorder at least 2 sizes up.The fabric is thick without being bulky. They would be perfect for swimming, snorkeling, etc in the direct hot sun and you would not need to put sunscreen on your legs. We just got back from Maui and live on the coast in CA (PCH all the way!!) and I love not having to worry about more than sunscreen on the face. I scoured Maui stores to find another pair while there. Got at least a half dozen times "we used to have those but they sold out quick and we didn't get them back in again." Uhhh?!?! If something is popular, why not carry more of it? With all the fish dying due to sunscreen, they should encourage people wearing protective clothing. Buy here because finding them on vacay is not so easy. I digress...These leggings are perfect with a long sleeve rash guard top. We snorkeled, swam and hung out in the sun for hours and didn't get burned. The fabric feels light on the skin, so I did not mind being covered up nor does it feel hot to wear as opposed to a typical suit.Highly recommend in an appropriate size and hope this info helps

I bought these for a trip to Ecuador. I was concerned about sunburn because I would be snorkeling a lot, and on the equator. I'm 5'5" 124lb and the small fit perfectly. They look great and hide your lumps and bumps. I'm 49. I went on a day boat trip and wore these and a long sleeved SPF shirt. I only needed sunscreen for my face (wore a hat), hands and feet. I wore them for the boat ride, a small hike then for snorkeling and I didn't have to change. Almost everyone else was badly sunburned by the end of the day as it was a full day out and being on a boat is deceptive with the breeze an' all. It was nice not to have to put on sunscreen. I actually think SPF swimwear should be compulsory for places like the Galapagos that have delicate ecosystems. Well I suppose the whole world is a delicate ecosystem really. I know there's a lagoon in Cancun where swimmers are asked not to wear sunscreen. In the long run, it's probably cheaper too. Why four stars? I wish they would dry a little faster. But in the end it is so great not to have to worry about sunburn.

I'm a PADI Dive Master. As such I spend a significant amount of time underwater on the pool bottom with students.My skin is sensitive, but I am also hot all the time. I didn't want to wear a wet-suit in the pool because I'd over heat - but my knees were getting eaten alive by the seemingly smooth pool bottom. Thus I went on a search for a rash guard for my legs!Couldn't be more pleased with this!! I'll definitely be purchasing more as I wear though the ones I have. (No matter how good a product if you wear it 16 hours a weekend it'll wear out eventually.)I'm 5' 2" and curvy. It's slightly long in the legs, but easy to slouch the fabric. Completely normal for someone of my height, and the fabric stays tight and doesn't get in the way of my fins.The fit is tight like a rash guard, and I've worn it as layers under my 7mm wet-suit when diving in cold conditions.
