Extremely pleased with this product
I was a little wary because this product had the lowest price I could find on the internet for a heavy duty monitor stand for 6 24-inch monitors. But when it arrived and I unpacked it, I could see it was heavy duty steel, well packed with all of the necessary hardware. I had to pull my heavy desk out from the wall but after that installation was not difficult. The most important thing was to attach the clamp firmly to the desk so that the vertical post was solid and rigid. That done, I measured one of my 24-inch widescreen monitors from the bottom of the monitor (with it's stand removed) to one of the top mounting screw holes, and that was a little less than 11 inches. I positioned the lower support arm of the hex stand so that the upper screw holes were about 15 inches from the top of the desk. I wanted some room between the bottom of the monitor and the surface of the desk. Then I mounted the bottom center monitor first. It tilted forward too much, but after using the wrench that came with the unit, I tightened up the nut that controlled the tilt and got it positioned the way I wanted it. Then, before mounting the rest of the monitors, I removed the plastic covers over all of those adjusting nuts and tightened all of them so the monitors would stay in position. Then I installed the upper support arm far enough above the lower arm so that a 24-inch monitor would fit without hitting the one below it. It was a bit tricky but I was able to accomplish mounting all of the rest of the monitors by myself without much difficulty. I didn't have 6 widescreen 24-inch monitors so I installed what I had. Ultimately I want to get 6 identical 24-inch widescreen monitors. But overall, after installing this desk mount stand, I am extremely pleased with the result. The monitors are off my desk so I have more desk space, and having 6 monitors up is great. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this desk mount stand to anyone who has a need or desire to have 6 monitors running.

Sturdy. Easy to put together
Sturdy. Easy to put together. Some might be bothered that the monitors don't perfectly align but it doesn't bother me.The one issue of which to be aware is that the center two monitors have swivel adjustment be their depth cannot be adjusted. So since this is a big, sturdy unit the distance from the back edge of your desk where the unit clamps to the front of the monitor will be approximately 11 inches. I installed mine on a somewhat shallow desktop that is part of my computer hutch and the center monitors are simply too close. I got some lumber and built a stand (yes, for the stand) using 2 x 6 boards. The new stand sits between my desktop and the back wall providing me a sturdy clamping surface and the additional depth I needed. If you have a standard office desk this shouldn't bother you. On a shallow hutch-type desk surface you may need to get out your hardhat and tool belt and spend some time back in wood shop. Note that the depth of my desk is 23 inches.Otherwise this is a great unit. Though not recommended you might be able to hang six Evinrude 150 boat motors off this thing. It's a beast. Would have given 5 stars but hoped to alert others to the depth issue.

with some tweaks, and elbow grease, this is a good monitor stand!
Despite a questionable start, I'm happy with this monitor stand!I ordered this because the price was right, for something I figured might not work out. (reading other reviews, made me question if it would)When I received the stand, I had the same issues as many others with the brackets not holding the monitors in place, and monitors slowly tilting more and more.I tried with the wrench, but realized that tightening the brackets as much as I could, still did not do enough. So I took the "up and down" tilting brackets apart, grabbed a rough metal file, and roughed up the surface of the "non pointed" side of the brass bushings, and the inside of the U shaped part of the bracket that attaches to the monitors. This made a huge difference!!!Currently I have 4 monitors on this stand. Two older 15lbs 24" HP(LCD) monitors in vertical position, one on each side of the two newer 13 lbs 24" horizontal HP(LED) monitors in the middle. The assembly is mounted to an electric stand/sit desk (IKEA w custom made heavy duty table top), and I have no issues with the monitors changing tilt, when I move the desk up or down.Note, I bought the 6 monitor stand, but I'm using the two outer upper mounts, for speakers.I did have to drop the center monitors slightly with the adjustment screw, to get the screens to align. This due to some drop in arms holding the side monitors. But the screens do align perfect now!Anyway, if you don't mind some minor prep work, maybe half hr, this stand is a really good deal in my opinion!Possibly hardest part is to reassemble the brackets, but just make sure to push the U shaped bracket down starting at the locator points in the brass bushings, so they stay in place. If you push from the side, the brass bushings will try to pop out of place./
