Great fans that work with a great customer service.
To start of with I done my research after stumbling upon these cooling fans to cool down my AV system consisting of 250W mono block amps a dual processor which runs as hot as the amps as well a Sky box and PS 3&4 that run hot. I still had unanswered questions though so contacted AC Infinity's customer service to determine which type of fans suited my needs best. What can I say the customer service and helpful punctual reply's are second to none and wish all company's had this level of helpfulness & patience with all the questions I kept asking over several emails! Thanks Tommy for the invaluable advice anyway ; )As for the product in hand that I purchased I went with the rear exhaust blowing S2 fan unit as my shelf gaps are quite narrow between each other so could not have the top exhausting S7 fan units the way my system is set up.Got to say the packaging is simple, yet smart with well thought out packing design and protection. Once open it comes with a clear and concise instructions manual that has been written by a human who knows his stuff and not a robot that has then translated from Chinese to English. The fan unit it self is well built and has a great feature of been able to daisy chain these fans together so less usb ports are used to power them. The fan unit itself is fairly quite unless on the highest speed you can detect the sound but is only noticeable when it is quite in the room, I say this but have to note I am running Four of these in tandem at the moment so the noise is a cumulative sound of all four fans running on highest speed.I have also purchased the Fan thermostat thermal & speed controller AI-ATC which has a temperature sensor probe attached and which measures your hottest area of a piece of kit and my amps were running at around 40-50 celsius in fairly warm ambient temperature has been quite a hot summer anyway and with the fans in place has cooled my amps and processor down to between 21 & 24 Celsius which makes the top of the units feel nice and cool. before the arrival of having these fans my amps and processor felt so hot to touch It felt like I could cook some bacon and eggs on top of them but with the S2 fans they are almost cold to the touch.Only note for these S2 Rear blowing models is unfortunately they are not fully compatible with the smart mode of the thermostat & speed controller like the S7 top blower fans are but does still work and can be adjusted manually on the controller.Over all the S2 fan does what it says on the tin or cardboard packaging in this case and cools my Hifi equipment right down to a sensible temperature that is not going to frazzle the electronics. Can't rate these enough from the fan itself with the build and design to the great customer advice I had from these guys.Looking forward to getting an Aircom T8 next and some more mutltifans soon from AC Infinity.

Quiet running fan
This is the third S2 fan I have bought. The first two are cooling two AV amplifier components. The next warmest device is the Sky HD box which only has about 4cm clearance above it to the next shelf, so there's nowhere for the hot air to go. One of these fans plugged into the USB socket of the Sky box can then be set to run on one of three speed settings, or off. The USB socket on my Sky box is powered all of the time, so the fan will run continuously, which is no bad thing as the Sky box runs quite warm even in standby mode, it seems to have more to do. There doesn't appear to be an option to control its power, unlike computers. On my amplifiers the USB is powered only when they are on, which means the fans only run when the amps are on. They don't generate much heat in standby. The fan runs almost silently in low speed mode, and I can feel that pushing a fair amount of air out. The arrangement is to put the fan on one side of the box so that the exhaust air washes over the rest of the box, all cooling helps. The fan case is sturdy and there is plenty of spare cable. There is also an extra output USB socket after the power setting switch, so you could power an additional slave fan if you need to.Very happy with the performance of the AC Infinity fans I am using. Hopefully the equipment appreciates the cooling, especially in the summer.

A great product that will prolong the life of your electrical equipment
I recently upgraded my AVR which I keep in a closed cabinet with an open back. My AVR before would give of a bit of heat but nothing that worried me but my new AVR on the other hand, when I opened the cabinet door for the 1st time it was like opening an oven door, the heat just hit me. Worried I ordered one of these fans from Amazon & it arrived the next day. The quality of the fan is very good, especially for just £15. I simply plugged the fan into a USB plug & sat it on top of my AVR & job done. Now my AVR is running nice & cool. I will order another, even though one seems to be enough but for £15 why not. Also I have the fan running at medium & I can't hear it at all.

Very effective, NOT so quiet
I purchased these along with a couple of mini fans and temperature sensors and am amazed at how well they work. My only gripe is that these are a lot louder than expected and thats on low, anything above that is very noticeable. Even on low in combination with the smaller fans my system is now cool enough with everything running and the cupboard doors fully shut so I am more than pleased. I think these could quite easily cool most things down on their own on the highest setting just be prepared for a lot of fan noise.

At last, they're back in stock! Amazing fans!
I've been using one of these to cool my Denon AVR unit which the top of sits very close to the glass shelf above it. I have had this fan for a few years now and it is still going strong; I have it plugged into the USB port of my AV unit so it will run when the unit is on and it get's used A LOT, so that's testament to the longevity of this brand of fan.The fan is very quiet, much quieter than any other brands, and I have tried them all because AC Infinity fans have been out of stock in the UK for what seems like years! It has a 3 speed control switch so you can control the speed and noise.Be warned if you buy anything from AC Infinity, though: it will ruin every other brand for you because they are really that good.

Great for my AMP
My amp was getting seriously warm in a pretty (but frankly too small) cabinet.Since the amp vents from the top and I didn't want a vent in the top of the TV cabinet, this allows me to expell the hot air horizonallty. They are super quiet, super easy to install, and super effective. I estimate the amp is a good 15C cooler. Best of all being USB powered (by the amp) they turn off when not in use.Amp is under TV - photo shows no fans (kind of the point).

A good product
I did think one fan would not be sufficient to cool the amp but it does a very good job placed on the centre of the amp. It isn't completely silent but does not effect enjoyment of what one listens to. Does what is says on the tin.
