The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports. Review: Enjoyed it and it had some good fights! - 5 stars for the Ric Flair sequence. That was an amazing 10 minutes of cinema: The promo and resulting confrontation. The punches seemed so real, like they might've been using CGI or something. Great film overall. Review: Wrestling fan must! - If you grew up watching wrestling you'll enjoy this, well done, good acting and nice abs!

Great movie on a great Blu-ray but my digital code was missing
The Iron Claw is a great movie that is worth your time and looks excellent on Blu-ray. This movie arrived in great condition, however there was no digital code present in my copy. I had to go to the Lionsgate website and tell them that I never received a code in order for them to provide a new working digital redemption code for me. I provided pictures of my Blu-ray case as it arrived with no code to be found, and proved my purchase with my Amazon order number and a sceenshot of the invoice. They were quick to help me, so it is all good in the end, though I was a bit disappointed that my order was missing its digital code. Thankfully it was a quick and easy process to resolve, though it would have been a perfect order otherwise.

Prevailing Through Tragedies
I grew up watching World Class wrestling on ESPN after school during the week. There’s a lot of stuff they got write in telling this story. Obviously, they took a few creative liberties in order to have a more fluid story but nothing is loss in the process. Holt McCallany plays the part of Fritz Von Erich so well that you almost forget it’s not actually Fritz. Efron gives a good performance as Kevin but he put on a tad too much weight to be completely believable. There are some truly poignant moments in the film as it unfolds … even when you know they’re coming. As a longtime wrestling fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the performances and the commitment to be honest in how they shaped the plot. You don’t have to follow wrestling or even enjoy it … this is a film about a family with a remarkable and tragic story to tell
