The app is really nice, makes keeping track and adjusting things so nice.
Really making a difference! It's just nice to have an app to control all my lights in one place. The sunset/sunrise feature is cool but requires setting each port individually. I have3 sets of the 16" ionbeam lights covering 4 shelfs of a 36" bakes rack full of cacti, succulents and a few orchids. Everything is doing great.

it does not work with AC Infinity air trap T4 vents.
I bought this controller box to go along with my air trap T4 vents from Infinity also. As it turns out, I probably did not need it. These vents do not work with the controller box. They do, but you cannot do automations, which was a real downfall. I wanted to have it so that the vents turn on at a certain temperature during the day and a different temperature at night because the vents are blowing different temperatures depend depending on the time of day. As far as the controller box goes, it is definitely really nice. I used to have a whole gross system going and used all Infinity products. I can tell you from experience that anything you buy from AC Infinity is going to be high-quality. You can tell just by the box that things come in. Even the boxes are really nice. I tried buying the transmitters that just came out. They did not work because they do not travel more than 15 feet!! so be aware if you’re trying to do something like I am that it will not work. Your controller box needs to be within 15 feet of all transmitters. Also, the more transmitters you have the less distance you get. I would not advise that you buy the transmitters. I sent mine back. If you have a grow room, this may be something for you but not for me. The controller box is 100% great quality. It’s just not what I needed.

Full control of your environment
I needed 5 ports to control my whole environment and this Is perfect. I have 2 T6 inline fans, 2 cloudray 6” fans, and a mars hydro tsw2000 light. I used 2 molex adapters, a rj45 to uis adapter, and 2 uis cables to connect it all to the the controller 69Pro+. The unit connects easily from the bottom and has a magnetic back to secure it to the metal plate on my tent(ac inifinity 866). The quick start guide should include the Bluetooth pairing and the WiFi procedure which it does not. It took me a second to figure out how to do it. It does tell you on the app but it’s small and easy to miss which is what I did lol. Bad eye sight. It gives you real time data, logs, real time control, programmable settings based on time, rh, temp, vpd, etc. this unit gives you the ability to calibrate the temp and rh for accuracy. It’s well thought out, high quality finish, durable based on materials, easy to read display, gives you complete control of your ac infinity devices, and data for days and days and days… So far, I really like this unit a lot. It’s an impressive unit with a lot of features. In my opinion, as pricey as it is, worth it.

Learning Curve... But AC Infinity is the King of Automation Right Now
There are some great grow tents out there. However, none do automation like AC Infinity. I bought a Mar Hydro Tent Kit. Knowing what I know now, I would have bought the AC Infinity Kit. That's ok. This controller works with all my Mars Hydro stuff... with a few caveats and headaches. In order to get your grow light and fan to work with the MH stuff, you'll need to purchase AC Infinity UIS control plug. You'll need two... or more. One for your grow light and one for your fan. Now, it doesn't offer the range of options you get when you use AC Infinity equipment... but it works. Being able to control my grow from anywhere in the world is awesome. If I'm away and I want to extend my grow light window, I just do it on my phone.

Excellent High Tech Controller - Works As Expected - Some Learning Curve - No Included Power
Excellent High Tech Controller - Using this for my grow tent and a few AC Infinity devices. So far no issues in terms of build. Buttons and operations are responsive and working as expected. Some Learning Curve - There are lots of options here in terms of control and operations depending on variables. The control is a little bit of a pain in terms of navigating and changing options, it takes some getting used to knowing what to do and how to get there. It is easier to do adjustments through the mobile app than the actual controller, wish there was a desktop app. Bluetooth/WiFi - Comes with ability to app control through bluetooth/wifi. I am using wifi, connection is stable and allows me to access the controller anywhere. The connection setup was simple and took less than a minute after following directions on the app. No Included Power - This comes with no power. Either one needs to get a specific UIS friendly power adapter or just use any AC infinity device as they have UIS USB-C that will power the controller. Included Probe - The probe comes included that measures pressure, temperature, and humidity. It is pretty accurate as it always lines up with my other hydrometers by 1-2% differential at most.

Good but not perfect
Here I review the AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro and Pro+. I own both models and find them to be the same other than number of ports. I give these controllers a grade of 4.4. There is some truth to the positive reviews that one sees about these controllers. The first thing that I especially like is the Automations function. Besides my main lights, I also have supplemental UV, blue, deep red, and IR lights. These lights get utilized in different ways in different grow periods. It used to be that I had to change multiple old school timers just to properly change lights for the next grow mode. With the Controller 69 Pro, however, I can make automations for germination, seedling, vegetative, and multiphased flowering periods. Just a push of a button on my phone and my varying lights all follow light time periods and intensities that are ideal for various growth stages. I also adore the sunrise/sunset function. Combined with my supplemental IR light, my plants get a reasonable facsimile of solar dawn and dusk, which allows them to be more effective with both their day and night activities. This sunrise/sunset function is not available on all grow lights, and it pays to check the compatibility list on AC Infinity's web site. For example, I have an older model Mars Hydro FC-3000 light for which sunrise/sunset works great. But a Vivosun VS-2000 only partly works due to limitations of the Vivosun driver. Mention of sunrise, though, also brings me to a shortcoming of these units, a lack of capacity for multiple scheduling. Like many growers, I turn my IR lights on twice a day for 15 minutes before sunrise and again after sunset, mimicking natural light patterns. The Controller 69 Pro, though, allows scheduling only one discreet activity per device per day. You can have devices cycle on and off for defined periods all day, but you cannot turn a device on and off in a discreetly chosen time frame more than once a day. Hence, I slap a cheap old school timer onto an expensive AC Infinity outlet in order to turn my IR lights on twice a day. AC Infinity makes good hardware but this software problem is a disappointing rough edge. These units also are finicky when it comes to Wifi. Make sure they have a strong signal. Further, the devices will demand that the phone with the app be connected to a 2.4G rather than 5G network. The free app that runs the controllers is both powerful and sometimes unintuitive, so it has a learning curve. Another potential problem accrues to powering the units. The 69 Pro/Pro+ does not come with a traditional power cable, since AC Infinity expects you to power the unit via a cable attached to a piece of AC Infinity UIS hardware like a light or fan. For instance, AC Infinity fans power my 3 controller units. That said, the controllers work with a lot of non-AC Infinity hardware. But if you don't have at least one AC Infinity device power source, you need to buy a power adapter, which then takes up a port. In other words, without AC Infinity hardware like a light to power it, your 4 port controller will work but effectively will become a 3 port device, since one port will be reserved for a power adapter. UPDATE: Having used both Bluetooth and Wifi modes to connect with these controllers, I have settled on Bluetooth mode. Wifi mode is handy but unstable over the longer term. Wifi may disconnect because of thunderstorms, router problems, controller problems, AC Infinity server updates, or other reasons. But Bluetooth mode works rock-solid 24/7 even if you have multiple controllers. Since I prioritize this trustworthy performance, Bluetooth is the way for me.

Not great for grow lights or growing plants
I’m using this controller for growing my favorite plant indoors. I actually own 3 ac infinity controllers, however I’m ready to replace them with something better. Short review: they’re not reliable for controlling grow lights and have somewhat limited control for dehumidifiers and fans. I used to be fairly enamored with ac infinity products. Seemed like great controllers for a good price, especially compared to some competitor products. That being said, I started using these to control grow lights on a schedule. Unfortunately I’ve had these controllers glitch (possibly due to a power outage) and mess up light schedules. Not cool for a 4 light grow room. The final straw was the weekend of daylight savings time. The schedule setting had no way to account for daylight savings time change, so it threw my light schedule off by an hour. Fortunately I caught it but the fact that it does that is horrible. There should be a way to turn off daylight savings or account for it so the schedule doesn’t get messed up. Unfortunately one lost crop is expensive and not worth gambling on whether these controllers will be consistent or not. As far as running a dehumidifier off of them, it’s not really possible. You can set a high or a low level for it to turn on, however no control over when it turns back off.
