I ordered two of her books and I have just poured over them.I am getting the supplies together so I can start one of her projectsHard to make up my mind which one.the instructions look pretty good. One never knows until you actually try to follow them but they look sufficient.

Love this book!
The many ideas in this book are very helpful. I have wanted to make a Christmas village with buildings of my own making and now I understand how to do it. This book is well written and illustrated.

Yoko Saito is my all time favorite quilt artist
I LOVE this book, it is so inspiring. Yoko Saito embodies everything about the art of quilting that I aspire to. All of her books, and especially this one is obviously so carefully written. Her work is beautiful and she is a natural teacher. If I could pick one author for piecing techniques, and handwork it would be this one.

I am tired of the same old house(a block with a triangle)and this author,artist has new shapes and groups to make a neighborhood RAH<RAH, beautiful purse designs .an interesting corner with a bicycle parked against the wall of a building. a whole house tea pot cover and yes there are more

Great detail
This book is excellent! This is my first time buying a book about japenese quilting patchwork so I read up about the author and watched her on so YouTube videos and the book goes into great detail about how to go about each project. There are a few projects for the more advanced quilter but also enough projects for beginners so I would happily recommend buying this book and on the plus side too is the price I’ve seen this book priced at nearly double on some sites
