Too wide
Describedo as fitting most ladders.I have 3 extention plus steps and it only fit's the widest step ladder. So wasn't able to use it to stand to paint the house which is why I bought it..

Well made but too wide to fit on ladder I have,so measure before purchasing.

too wide. didnt fit either of my two ladders. went to local diy shop B&Q, and it wouldnt fit any of their ladders.Maybe its not designed for UK. They need to specify the step/rung width that it will fit.Wouldnt reccommend.

The first thing you have to do, is make sure that it will fit your existing ladder.......
I was very excited to be able to buy Nordstrand PWT-SPO1 Ladder Step at a discount in order to leave my unbiased opinion. The first thing you have to do, is make sure that this is will fit your ladder. Foolishly, I assumed it would fit mine, and it was slightly too big, so I cannot use it on my existing ladder, hence I have knocked a star off, as it is not really universal. If the rung bit was a bit smaller, it probably would fit all ladders. Nevertheless, if it does fit your ladder, this is a very handy thing to have. It sits unobtrusively and you just kick it back when you need to stand on it or use it to put your paint etc on. I already have one that came with my ladder and I love it. I wanted another to use to put my paint pot on, but it won't be this one, unfortunately. Solely for the purpose of this review, I attached the step to a rung of my step ladder, that it fitted on, to show how it works.

Good for full size steps
This product was sent to me by the manufacturer free of charge for review, no attempt was made to influence this review.Arrives well packaged, but easy to unpack. You install it by literally hooking it onto the steps of at the back of the ladder. It will only work on a full size ladder, not a step ladder! Ideally a ladder than can fold over on itself/cantilever.The platform is very secure. I used it to put the base of a steam stripper on, and later to store paint when I was doing the walls. Very handy to have all the bits to hand when doing stuff.It's a useful addition and a good price, but a shame it won't fit on a step ladder - maybe a gap in the market?Recommended

Impressive – so long as it fits your ladder step.
I was sent this to review for in return for my unbiased opinion.I was sceptical about this but I'm actually quite impressed. It's quite strong and sturdy, not flimsy and bendable. It doesn't come with instructions and you need to look at the website pictures to work out how to use it. The back edge of the stand, which measures 31 cm on mine, hooks onto the back of your ladder step. And the strut comes down and braces against the lower step. It should fit most ladders providing the treads are wide enough to accommodate it. You end up with a platform to step on and it's quite sturdy because the heavier you are, the more it presses onto the lower rung , so it does feel quite secure to stand on. That said, I'm only seven a half stone.I should also mention that this does not fit on my small step ladder, which is too narrow. So measure the width of you tread on your ladder to check that it will fit because it isn't adjustable.I didn't know this type of gadget existed until I received it. I have been using it in the garden to trim the hedges and it has proved invaluable.
