I haven’t tried on a new jacket for a long time and was somewhat concerned that I would get the wrong size from Amazon but in this case I took a chance I got the extra large and it fits just fine. Unfortunately, I might have to invest in an iron to get out the wrinkles, but no biggie. I live in Florida, so no problem with very very cold weather, but on some chilly mornings from time to time, this will do just fine.

I got this coat for my husband back in October. I was out of town when he got it so snapped photos of him while I was on the phone. After a while I forgot to do my review. Anyways I finally took his coat out and tried it on myself so I could see how it is. The coat fits him perfectly and for me,it was a little long in the arms,but otherwise fit me good. I'm only 5'1 and he is 5'9. The coat is very warm and feels comfortable to wear. There is a pocket on the inside of the coat which I like. On the left sleeve of the coat they have a zipper with a small pocket for you to keep small items in. The zipper on the coats zips up smoothly. This coat is very nice and my husband really likes it. The material is great for all types of weather and for here that is what we need. It was a pricey coat but well worth it.

I appreciate a good jacket more than most and that may be why I own a variety of them. This jacket has quickly become one of my favorites and I highly recommend it! Here are a few specific thoughts:- I was a little unsure of what size to order since there is no size chart. I decided to order based on my shirt size (large) and that turned out to be exactly the right choice. It fits exactly like a men's large should and the fit through the chest/shoulders, waist, and sleeves is excellent.- It was a nice surprise to find that this jacket is water resistant! I ran water over it for some time and it consistently beaded up and ran off without soaking into the fabric at all.- The overall quality of this jacket is great. The zippers operate smoothly, the elastic in the waist and wristbands is high quality and comfortable, and all of the stitching throughout is nice.- Like any other clothing item ordered online, you will need to iron this jacket a bit. I ironed mine on the lowest setting ("synthetics") and spent 10-15 minutes removing all of the wrinkles (the results of this can be seen in the attached picture).Overall, this is a very nice jacket and is priced very comparably to similar items. It definitely gets my recommendation!

Call it what you want, it is still a pretty nice waist length jacket. A traditional bomber jacket has tight cuffs, has a tight waist, and a wrap around collar, usually made of sheepskin or some other type of leather. But ultimately, things change and this does fit a somewhat loose definition of a bomber jacket. The collar is not tight enough for me but that isn't a deal breaker. I do like the zipper pocket on the sleeve. Overall, the quality is definitely there. For $50.00 it is a good deal. Nice material, although a polyester, it still does the trick and is moderately warm. I wouldn't suggest it for super cold days, but that is not really its purpose anyway, this is a nice chilly day sort of coat, and for that it does nicely. This construction is fantastic with solid seams and a great steel zipper. I ordered in the coffee color and just can't imagine it in anything else. It has its place in my rotation and is the go to jacket on mild to cold days. Very comfortable and well worth the asking price. I only give 4 stars because it isn't an exceptional value. I was expecting a more traditional flight jacket. But all the pictures and descriptions are accurate.

Slightly Large - I am a smaller person but like to get medium jackets to fit whatever other layers I have underneath. Usually this works out well. In this case, the medium was slightly larger than I expected and I am thinking now I should have gone with a small in this case.Nice Aesthetics - Very plain black look with only an outside arm zipper for variation. I like simple looks and this fits that aesthetic without blaring colors or logos. Overall nice, can have some wrinkles though.Warm - There is a medium amount of padding in here and the outer material does resist wind. Can handle cold winter weather, except maybe for the extreme cold times.Good Build - No loose threading that I have seen, everything is symmetrical and built well it looks like. There are 2 simple zippers (middle and arm) and they both function reliably.Machine Washable
