Charge + USB Data Works Perfectly
I purchased the MOGOOD USB C Splitter for an upcoming holiday, as I wanted to leave behind my portable audio player in favour of just using my phone instead; one less item to pack, one less item to charge. The problem: My phone is a Pixel 3 with no SD card storage and the internal storage would only fit 5 or so albums as it stands right now, so I'll need to use USB storage for my music & audiobooks. But what if I need to charge at the same time? I am not a fan of (and don't own) wireless chargers, they are inefficient and tend to run hot, so I need to use USB for charging. Additionally, the Pixel 3 doesn't provide a 3.5mm headphone jack, so Bluetooth is my only option here. This is the scenario which the MOGOOD USB C Splitter would be a good fit for.The image I posted shows the system exactly as I intend to use it whilst traveling. I have an Auskang 5000mAh slim USB C charger plugged into the charge port of the splitter and in lieu of a USB C flash drive, I have my flash drive plugged into a Nimaso USB A to USB C converter. As you can hopefully see on the phone screen, the device is being charged whilst playing audio (from the flash drive) and I'm using some Taotronics Bluetooth earbuds to listen.Arguably, this is more clunky than just taking a separate audio player and wired earbuds, but as I was taking the Auskang charger anyway, the only real extras I am now taking are the MOGOOD splitter and the Nimaso A to C converter. Both these items will pack neatly into a tiny EDC pouch and weigh less than the audio player I was originally going to take. Is this a win? I will leave that down to your own judgement. However the MOGOOD USB C Splitter works exactly as I intended it to and for that I am happy to give it a strong recommendation and 5 stars.EDIT: I still don't have a USB C flash drive to test it with (I assume it will just work) but I also tried a generic USB A to USB C converter and this also worked without issue (see image). This time I was plugged into an Aukey PA-T1 54W Quick Charger rather than a powerbank, but as you can see - no issues.EDIT2: I finally bought a USB C flash drive and, I must say, the setup has improved. In the 3rd image I attached, you can see the same Pixel 3, with the same MOGOOD USB C Splitter, but the charge port is being powered by a Raspberry Pi 400 USB C power supply and the data port is connected to a Kingston Data Traveler USB C flash drive. Not seen in the picture are a pair of reliable Taotronics bluetooth sports earphones and the system is complete. This is the final form which I'll be taking on holiday with me later in the year.So to conclude, the MOGOOD USB C Splitter has worked in 3 different scenarios:#1 Power supplied by a USB C powerbank, data supplied by SanDisk USB A flash drive#2 Power supplied by a USB wall charger (USB A to USB C cable), data supplied by SanDisk USB A flash drive#3 Power supplied by a USB C Raspberry Pi PSU, data supplied by Kingston USB C flash driveFor the price I paid and the functionality I have, I highly recommend the MOGOOD USB C Splitter.

It doesn’t work
Connected it to an external hard drive that needed extra power to run, two USB cables from my MacBook. Nothing. Even with just one cable, the lights came on on the HD, it just wasn’t reading, with the splitter, nothing.

Does not work
thought this didnt work until i discovered the data only works if the power is connected, so you can't just use it for data.

Not good at all.
I've had this for less than a month, and the headset doesn't work now. Save you money and buy something else. Unfortunately I can't put a zero in.

Didn't work
Didn't work for me. I wanted charging and music output. Can do charging but can't do music output even when the other cable is not in.

Great splitter
Works great, nice material. Bought to use Nvme ssd while charging, so needed high connection speed, and this works perfectly.
