It's very nice and clean. Exactly the texture I needed. However, I really expected a 2Qt bag to be bigger. It's super light stuff, and so the bag was only about 10"x12"x3" (I'm completely approximating, I didn't take a ruler to it). Thankfully, I don't need a lot, and it's WAY less expensive than I found at any local garden shops.

I have little experience with orchids. I've never been able to get them to bloom after the initial bloom. I researched how to care for them and get them to bloom after receiving one as a gift. It needed a bigger pot, so I purchased this potting soil. It is thriving and has bloomed again, faster than I imagined it would.

I've been mixing a little of this Vermiculite with my coir perlite potting mix in the bottoms of my cloth pots to help retain a little more moisture and nutrients for the roots looking for more, while the upper potting mix drains more readily.This seems to be working well, being fed by a hydroponics type system through drip irrigation system parts.

The bag I purchased said "20 quarts". It was a very small bag and not even a label saying how much was in it. I measured it out with a Mason quart jar and only received 10 quarts. There was a lot of dust in it also. I would never purchase this product again.
