AND it arrived about 10 days earlier than estimated ... not bad at all.Excellent Engineering, solid as the Enfield ( No4 Mk1 ) itself. In fact, it's so good that it could easily pass for an original battlefield issued mount ... And it doesn't interfere with racking the bolt at all.Anyone who complains about this mount ( In Any Manner Whatsoever ) probably isn't qualified to even pick up a screw driver ( Or an Enfield ) in the first place.I am more than a half way decent weapons designer and I cannot believe that I didn't think of it first ... Rumph !!! Makes me wish I had two or three more Enfields just so I put this mount on them too.

I'm happy with the installation but the instructions might be worse than IKEA. Instructions are a single piece of paper, no pictures, several typos. If there were better instructions it would be 5 stars. The company should put out a tutorial. There's only 1 picture on the product page and it doesn't show any useful information.

Arrived faulty, didn’t even get out of the truck and saw it wasnt going to work. Whoever machined it didn’t check their work. It would be one thing if it flaked off but its hard and stiff, waiting to see what seller has to say if they will send a replacement or if i need to refund through Amazon.Update:Got in contact with seller, they were quick on the response and great customer support. Offered replacement part and would pay for return shipping. Part works great after being fixed.

This scope mount is perfect! The included instructions were easy to follow (and I have limited gunsmithing ability) and allowed me to have the mount in place in minutes. It holds firmly, but I have not fired any rounds through the rifle yet so I cannot attest to its stability in that respect. However, I am confident that it will not be a problem. If you are looking for an easy to install scope mount, and don't mind not having the rear iron sight, this is definitely the way to go!

In both cases of me installing this mount on a No. 4 rifle, the alignment has been so far off that the scope turrets will bottom out when trying to zero the rifle. Each time, the scope mount is angled upwards at a degree that is too far for the scope turrets to account for. There don't seem to be any provisions for adjusting the mounting screws to account for this angle.Secondly, both of these mounts have sub-par machining or design. There are two screws that go into the rear of the mount through the rear sight holes on the receiver. These holes are threaded in a way that the threads break through the bottom of the construction in a less than acceptable manner, creating an unsightly jagged edge on one side (see photo.)I recommend the Bad Ace picatinny mount instead of this one. The BA mount includes shim washers for adjusting the angle of the mount so that you can effectively zero your rifle.

Installed easily, and holds tight on a NO4 MK 2 rifle . There was no need to any king of gunsmithing. You need to put a cheek rest on the stock so you can see through the scope comfortably.

This is the one of the better rabove the bore (non- side mount) scope mounts for the No4 & No5 enfields.Pros : no side mount, no gunsmithing, no locktite neded and has solid holdCons : Mount sits high over the bore requiring a scope that can make up for the elevation difference that wont bottom out, work better with a but pad with a 1" riser and if you wont some more eye relief get the rubber but pad extension. hence the 4 stars.
