The search for protein
So I’ve had gastric sleeve and regained weight. I’ve been using a small dose of Mounjaro to get my weight back down and just rejump start my surgery. Since starting it i literally can’t eat or drink anything. A few sips of water and I feel extremely full. So I've had a VERY hard time getting enough to eat let alone protein. I also have an aversion to milks and protein powder. Like, I smell it and I wanna puke or taste it and gag. I drink the premier protein drinks usually but every once in a while I get a chunky one and then cannot drink them again. (Texture issues suck) I’ve tried so many protein bars and shakes and I get one bite or one sip and noooope. So I found the protein2O clear drinks (great taste but too much to drink for me for only 20 grams) and realized there’s a clear protein! Say whaaa okay so deep dive into that but find an unflavored powder and brought here. I’ve had so many experiences of being excited and then throwing up, so I was hesitant. The smell reminds me of just a carton of plain milk. No real scent per se, but that’s my best description. The directions say 1 scoop for 8 oz but I started with half a scoop in my cottage cheese and yogurt. (Since my bowl is already small, no way a whole scoop would combine into that!) and it mixed well. I do think I will try mixing just the cottage cheese with the powder and then add the yogurt as it took away the sweetness of my cherry yogurt. It didn’t change the flavor of it or anything it just diluted the flavor and added a more milk-y taste to it. Not too bad. I made it through the whole bowl and didn’t seem to have a texture issue of it being gritty or anything like that. Which could have just been my choice of cottage cheese covering the texture, but it worked. I can’t say it’s unflavored though. Like I said it gives off a milk taste. Nothing like a regular protein powder or drink though. I’m not a fan of milk so it’s still not something I’m like “yay wahoo put it in everything.!” But for now no gritty texture in my cottage cheese so that’s a great start! I might work up to adding it to other things but we will see. I don’t think it’s a good thing to mix with sweet things though like I said it diluted the favor of my cherry yogurt so just think about the things your mixing it with. Value wise 16 servings is stated on the bag compared to the 16 pack of premier protein shakes, it’s a bit cheaper than the premier protein. Not by much, but is comparable and more on the affordable side of protein for sure. It has no other fluff or frills though like the premier protein with vitamins. it’s just protein. Do with that what you will.

Fantastic protein powder, it's the only one I can tolerate!
Listen, am I a picky eater? Maybe, maybe I am. Do I get funny about texture? Sure. BUT MOST PROTEIN POWDERS ARE AWFUL. Objectively. They taste powdery, are gritty, and just... ugh. This is the ONE protein powder I've found from 3-4 that I've tried that is AMAZING. I have no issues with this.Yeah it makes my milk taste a liiiiitle protein-powder like but its nothing compared to other powders. I mix it with chocolate milk and then use a small electric whisk to get all the clumps out.Tips: It's best to do a little bit of a scoop, stir, then put more in, stir, etc. Also, I find it best to do it in room temp milk, or leave the glass out for awhile. I normally get milk out from the freezer, mix the chocolate powder & protein powder, and then leave it out for 1-2 hours before drinking.I'm also lactose intolerant I think (not 100% sure but I avoid regular milk anyways) and this didn't give me any issues.

YOU MUST BUY THIS!!!
If I could give more stars I would. Seriously, the best protein powder. It is so versatile that I can use it in anything and everything. I have multiple chronic illnesses and protein is my absolute best friend. I have searched for years to find this. I make protein balls with this, put it in my coffee, use it when making oatmeal. I don't think there is anything this protein powder doesn't go with. The price is incredible because most places charge half of this for a pound. It never upsets my stomach ever!!! In fact, I poop like a regular person now. Just buy this product, you won't regret it. Powder is high quality. It easily dissolves in everything. Love this!

Ok product
This seems to be a good product so far. I don't enjoy the smell but you can't really smell it once it's mixed with something. I also find that it gets really gritty, almost like bits of plastic, if you try to stir it in with liquid that is too hot. If this happens, I find that the particles itch my throat, even if I strain it. Another small issue I have is it does have a slight taste to it, even though it says its flavorless. Other than that, it seems okay.

Couldn’t live without it
I absolutely love this stuff. I’ve always struggled to get enough protein, especially as a vegetarian, so this has truly been my saving grace. I just toss 3-4 scoops into my 64oz water bottle that I drink throughout the day, shake it up, and go. Super easy way to add a ton of protein into your diet and hit your macro goals. It has a slight taste but it’s very minimal and it’s actually a taste I enjoy— sort of ‘milky’ in a way, but not at all a bad way. It mixes easily into water without clumping. Low calorie. Bit pricey but definitely worth it for what you’re getting.

A great smoothie additive
I used this every morning in my smoothie, and it is indeed flavorless and that's exactly what I was looking for. It's not chalky like other protein powders I've tried. It does "fluff up" quite a bit, so that's something to consider if you use a bullet blender or a similar small mixer. I haven't tried to hide it in any other foods, but it works perfectly for a high protein smoothie.

Great powder. Bag was punctured.
Wicked good product. Upset with shipping. When I received it the Mylar bag had a puncture, which I found to be kind of concerning. It’s a nutritional product, it should be completely sealed. I could have bought a pound of Isopure whey powder at Walmart in person and gotten a perfect bag. Due to this bag being punctured I had to transfer the powder to an empty plastic jar. However, I love this much more than flavored powder. You can dry scoop it. Bake it into brownies. Stir it into a paper cup with a spoon, no shaker bottle needed, and since there’s no flavoring it’s less likely to make a mess when you scoop it. The kinetics of the powder are much easier to deal with. It tastes like almost nothing. My only complaint is that since there is more demand for flavored powders, this powder is a bit more expensive compared to my original go-to, which was Chocolate Equate Whey Protein.
