The device does the job. But you would expect a much better design and smart functions.First impression, compared to the company's previous product, is lacking of always on display, which was a good temperature indicator at all times.Secondly, when you are setting up the device for its smart features via the app, you realise that you have to connect a second device that works as a bridge between the main device and the internet.And lastly, the user interface of the app is so bad that you may think it was designed a decade ago.If I could have found a better device that would work, I would have returned this one.Certainly not a good value for the price.

Easy to install and easier to use via the app but user manual could be a bit more specific

Totally useless for controlling heating via the internet. Either offline or device unavailable most of the time.

Easy to set up and use and works well with the mobile app. Isn't compatible with Amazon Echo and changing the temperature using the remote display is laborious as you have to tap in 0.5 degrees increments.

I've had a few years of use out of the Salus IT500 (not to smart) Internet Thermostat before it decided to fail outside of warranty. The main points to list are- The App is awful!! does not update firmware most times and has a mind of its own even with latest firmware- User interface on Thermostat LCD is too simplistic and not user friendly- Customer support is non existent even when you open a support ticket- For a little more money you can get a more reputable Smart thermostat and it's worth every penny to this badly designed/supported product
