Worthless
I bought this item ("Mosalogic Fly Insect Trap Plug-in...") because we had a problem moth infestation. The light is supposed to attract unwanted bugs which get trapped on the glue. After being plugged into a high-moth area for 1 year, it trapped exactly 1 gnat. No moths trapped at all. I finally threw it out after a year. (I replaced it with the *highly* recommended "Mottenfalle Clothes Moth Safe Non-Toxic Eco-Friendly Moth Traps with Pheromones" which are disposable paper traps that catch literally dozens of moths each.) But forget about this Mosalogic, it's worthless. (Though it can serve as a night light--if you don't mind how bright it is.) I give it 1 star for the 1 gnat that it trapped.

Caught 15+ gnats already in 10 days! Glue card is still sticky too (as it should be).
Works great!! It's caught like 15+ gnats in 10 days already & I'm surprised that many gnats get in this room tbh! We'll see how good it performs during the hot summer FL days, but so far so good. It keeps gnats away from me when I'm on the computer or watching TV nearby, especially during the daytime... and in a small room. I don't notice any noise level from it (it's in the corner of the room, on the same side as the garbage bin). The glue cards are easily removed/replaced, but I can check the device just by tilting it while it's plugged into the socket to test stickiness of the glue card or see how many bugs/new bugs it's caught. ^^ Simple to deal with, easy to monitor. I will update bec I'm concerned how long the glue cards last as well as the blue light itself, but so far, all is well, and the glue cards seems almost as sticky or as sticky as 10 days ago. ^^

Say Goodbye to Pesky Pests
If you’re tired of swatting at flies or dodging mosquitoes, the Mosalogic Flying Insect Trap might be your new best friend. This plug-in insect trap uses a combination of UV light and an attractant to lure flying pests in, trapping them securely so they won’t ruin your indoor space. Whether you’re trying to enjoy a peaceful evening or protect your home from mosquitoes, this handy little device offers a simple solution to pesky insect problems. It’s compact, efficient, and even comes with a night light feature for added convenience. Pros: 1. Effective Insect Catching: The UV light attracts flying insects, including mosquitoes, gnats, and moths, effectively trapping them without harsh chemicals. 2. Dual Function: The built-in night light makes it a great two-in-one device—an insect trap and a soft, ambient light for your room. 3. Easy to Use: Simply plug it in, and the trap does all the work. No need for batteries or complicated setups. 4. Low Maintenance: The device is easy to clean with a simple wipe-down or by removing the trap for disposal. 5. Compact Design: Its small size makes it perfect for use in various rooms around the house, from your bedroom to your kitchen or office. Cons: 1. Limited Range: The trap is best suited for small to medium-sized rooms; it may not be as effective in larger areas with high insect activity. 2. Attraction to Other Bugs: While it catches many flying insects, it might not be as effective with pests like fruit flies or spiders that don’t respond to UV light. 3. Effectiveness Depends on Location: The results may vary depending on where the gnats are located and where you’re able to plug in the device. If it’s too far from the source of the infestation or in an area with poor airflow, the trap may not be as effective at catching insects. Overall, the Mosalogic Flying Insect Trap is a great, hassle-free option for keeping pesky flying insects at bay. It combines effectiveness with convenience, making it a solid choice for those looking for a simple solution to indoor insect problems.

It works, but maybe just as well as a homemade jar
This little trap does an ok job. I thought I’d test it against a homemade fly trap to compare the results. A jar of apple cider vinegar on the window sill captured just as many as this device. In fact initially, it performed better. So I wouldn’t say this product doesn’t work, because it does, but know that you can the same results with a lower-tech solution. The pros are this product does catch bugs, is easy to use, easy to setup, requires very little maintenance, does not emit any form of odor, and can’t be knocked over. The cons are, value for the money, it emits a considerable amount of light across its different modes. It really bright (to a disturbing degree at night) in the kitchen. It consumes electricity and therefore occupies an outlet. I wouldn’t suggest that this is a bad product, it probably just isn’t as functional as it could be.

I really like this specific brand and device. Mine went bad after 2 years and started making a high-pitched ringing noise and the company was kind to replace it. Customer service is very good

Sorry, but this does not attract MY troublesome flying insect at all!
I rarely ever find myself writing a review like this, but this time it is necessary. I have been bothered recently by one type of small, fast moving flying insect, which I am not at all familiar with. I received this and plugged it in almost three weeks ago, in the heaviest traffic area right next to the kitchen sink and disposal. These pesty little flies seem to be simply laughing at it, flying right up to it but never falling for the bait! I feel as if they are mocking my attempt to get rid of them. I have changed the pad twice already just in case there was anything wrong with the first one. The blue light seems to actually attract them, but only to the area, and not at all to the fly-catching pad. It is cool here in Florida right now... maybe I'll have some success with it when mosquito season comes along, but for now, this has been a total disappointment! It’s now over 4 months later, and my indoor results aren’t any better. So I decided to try it outdoors, on my patio, and the sticky pad was almost completely covered with outdoor insects in two days!! But the unit I still have in my kitchen still has not attracted a single indoor gnat, many of which I can easily see flying around! This has proven to be useless for indoor use.
