Best dog brush I’ve used- easy mess clean up
My Dog's New Spa Day Essential (and My Sanity Saver!)Let's be honest, grooming a dog can sometimes feel like wrestling a fluffy, shedding octopus. So when I got my hands on the SwiHauk Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush, I was cautiously optimistic. What I didn't expect was for my dog, Quinn (a majestic floof-monster of indeterminate breed), to actually enjoy it.Seriously, folks, this brush is a game-changer. Usually, brushing my dog involves a lot of wiggling, strategic treat deployment, and me ending up looking like I've been hugged by a giant dust bunny. But with the SwiHauk, she stands still. She actually stands still! It's like she knows a luxurious, shed-free future awaits. The bristles are gentle but incredibly effective, gliding through her fur and somehow, magically, capturing all that rogue hair. And the best part? The "self-cleaning" feature isn't just a gimmick. With a simple click, a perfect, neat little patty of dog hair pops right off the brush. No more picking strands out of bristles for what feels like an eternity, no more accidental re-shedding onto the floor as I try to de-hair the brush. It's truly mess-free.If you're a pet parent battling the never-ending tide of pet hair, do yourself (and your floors, and your furniture, and your sanity) a favor and grab this brush. It's made grooming less of a chore and more of a bonding experience. Plus, my vacuum cleaner is sending me thank you notes. Five stars, would recommend to every dog (and cat!) owner out there!

Worked for Grumpy Husky
I bought this brush for my matted husky that has anxiety about grooming. The brush is gentle enough for their sensitive skin while still pulling up tons of fur and undercoat. It did a great job gently breaking up mats. By the end, they even enjoyed being brushed. The self cleaning also worked well, though it can clog if too much hair is on the brush. Would definitely recommend as a gentle slicker style brush.

Husky Approved. You need this!!
This is the best brush EVER!!! I have a Husky and well... you know all about the shedding and drama. She HATES to be brushed. It's always a wrestling match. It's super hard to hold her and brush her then try to get the hair off the brush without her running off! So brushing has become quite a traumatic experience for both of us. She totally tolerated this brush. Didn't fight me as much as she usually does and with the push of a button, the fur releases from the brush with ease. The little round ball on the bristle tips make it easy on her skin and grabs so much fur. I no longer dread brushing her! The quality seems good but it's hard to know until I've had it a while but so far I'm beyond thrilled with it! Great price. Worth EVERY penny.

Works as described but too big
Works as described. I love the ease of cleaning AND not hurting my dog’s skin. I do wish this came in a smaller size option so that it’s less scary for her AND I could maneuver it on her underside. She’s a 7pound Papillion truly too big for her size!

Praise these tines of gentle torment
The crowned bristles, steel tipped but softly capped, delve into the duologue of your creature’s coat—extracting loose underfur like secrets clawed from unwilling minds. Users praise its comfort:“kinder tipped bristles for sensitive skin” and “gently go through her fur.”With a push of the sacred bottom, the bristles recede, projecting the collected hair outward—like expelling a summoned entity from its vessel. Many nod in awe at this simple yet potent incantation .Wielded with ease, the brush glides through puggles, Labradors, and cats alike—though those with longer or double coats may find its head too wide or its bristles too short to dispatch the thickest tanglessears.comForged of stainless steel and TPR, this tool stands as sturdy as any lesser abomination. Yet it remains economical—likened by People Magazine to brushes twice its cost .Among standard poodles and locking fur beasts, some found its reach lacking, requiring more specialized tools for complete subjugation . Reddit’s husky-owning acolytes also whisper caution:“Bulky design not ideal for small pets,” and “bristles not suitable for fine hair.”But my creatures are vast, bending the very space around them into madness.

Great dog hair brush ever
This is amazing to use my dog loves it. It has wire brushes with plastic balls on the ends. Doesn't hurt dogs skin. You simply push the button and the bristle lock in place. Brush your pet when you get hair on brush. Push the button again the bristles retract and the hair can be wiped off or shaken off.

Great brush for shedders!
This is a great rush for dogs that shed! The dog loves the brushing, and the hair left behind wipe off completely when you retract the bristles! It’s a daily ritual for me and my fur baby!

Don't hesitate. GREAT Brush for shed relief.
As a retired owner of a Dog Grooming business and former breeder of Multigeneration Labradoodle Retrievers and currently have 4 in my family I can't say enough good things about this brush. It's already in my shopping cart for my Bonus Daughter's Xmas Stocking Stuffer for her cats. This brush arrived today right before my Mobility Service Dog was about to be groomed and bathed for a big trip for medical tests. As soon as he was towel dried I opened the box and tried the brush. It WAS AMAZING. The "needle" points were nicely protected by a little rubber on the ends and when I pushed the button after brushing him, WAHOO, there was the little amount that he sheds was neatly in my hand. Since I had let him outside after his bath, he had some greenery in his hair which also came out with the hair. Pin brushes can hurt but there were no complaints from this brush pins.I have groomed so many breeds of dogs and have never found a better brush for removing undercoat. If I still had cats, it would also be a must have. It's well made, comfortable and easy in the hand. I chose purple but there are so many nice colors to choose from.Look no further, great price, great brush.
