Easy to use BT OBDII reader
This is my second one. This is a great diagnostic tool. Not only can you live view your engine stats, but you can look up error codes and clear them. Pro version of the app of course offers more, but the basic will give you exactly what you need to start being "one with your car" Stop wasting money going to have a "Check Engine" light diagnosed. Get this and do it your self. You wont regret it. Works on all cars that have a OBD port and use OBD-II **most cars from 1996 to current, though it WILL NOT DIAGNOSE or work with cars who use OBD-I.** (My car is a 94 chevy caprice and will not work.) You can keep it plugged into the port even when you aren't accessing the app/data, and if you dont want it there...toss it in the glove box.

Could Not Get the OBDII to Work - Help Requested
I could not get the ELM 327 Mini OBDII to connect to my android phone. I downloaded the recommended app from the Play Store; however, there seems to be a connection problem between the OBDII and the app. I tried to connect the OBDII on 3 different vehicles and same problem repeated. I purchased the OBDII in February 2025, and I missed the return window. The product number on the box X00446Z4ZN. I would appreciate a seller or product represenative to contact me to help me get the OBDII operational. Thank you, Glen

Perfect for the torque app
I love this thing with the torque app. It monitors everything and fully customizable display in the app. The device itself is just the connection to the app I use. Not affiliated with this product but it does connect to odb2 apps like torque

Easy to use but a little glitchy
It connects fine, but the data can drop here and there.

Good
I like it. It works good. My check engine light came on on my car for the gas cap and I freaked out and forgot that I had this in my car so when I used it, I was relieved to find out it was just a gas cap and because I didn’t really gas cap on when I got gas so it was my fault If you have an aftermarket android head unit it connects to the app on there as well not just your phone

Diy affordable and necessary mechanic tool
Limited features. It works well for the price and its intended purpose. Would buy again but if looking for more detailer info will have to buy a more expensive unit.

Doesn't like my Subaru, works in 08 Toyota
First, it connects quickly to bluetooth once you figure out the PIN which wasn't provided. (most ELM's are the same PIN). It connected to my 2022 Subaru WRX once, read data for about 3 seconds and failed. It however does work with my much less complex 2008 Toyota Yaris, albeit sketchy at best. Figured I'd give it a shot. It's a really poor unit and drops connectivity a lot during use. As I said before, refuses to stay connected and communicate with the ECU of my Subaru. It WILL stay connected to the Yaris, albeit data is incredibly slow to update. Will be returning. I've had a ton of these cheap readers and aside from DOA models, this is the worst one I've ever received.

Yeah...i dunno about this...
Only tried it once. Upon communication, ended up with a ton of false codes and a light i never had on the dash for the eye in the windshield. Will try it again and update this with my findings.

Works with my Nissan, not with my GMC Yukon. The app is pretty basic looking, but it does have a lot of info!

Works great with my 2020 Silverado
