The Fashion Coloring Book Paperback – March 6, 2012

I find this book VERY abstract. It's edgy, modern, more fashion show clothing vs every-day wear. Which might be very pleasing to some.I wouldn't buy it again, if Id seen the inside.To describe the inside so you can judge for yourself:It includes pages that have mad-lib sort of stories. It includes two whole pages of eggs and bacon images. It has a 'make a fake profile for a model' page, like write in the models' fav song and whatever else. There's models in run-way like clown wear, there's a page to decorate and cut-out an eye mask.The shoe pages look terrible to me. I like harder lines in pictures I color. And the shoes dont represent anything I would like coloring, like a good blahnik or madden shoe.The female model pages, most of the clothing are like drapey simple dresses or drapey parachute-ish type pants. A lot of oversized shirts or blazers on the models.Some pages have just a female head, where i guess you'd focus on make-up or hair design. A couple pages with just simple watches or hats.Some pages seem to have nothing to do with fashion per se, a page of geometric lines or only flowers or only dots or check design.I liked the fashion/designer quotes throughout the book. I like the 'games' where it was something like match this image of a designers head to their name.Overall, I found this to be too abstract, too all-over the place for me. I would say it is less likely to please someone who's more into the coloring side and less into staring at run-way images.I would love to find something in between this and other silly fashion options like barbie-doll images!!

I was very disappointed. The drawings were very crude, no definition or care to detail. the models were not appealing expressionless, no detail. Hairstyles had no style, the outfits were crude and looked like sacks with no definition. Also there was a statement on one of the pages that was personally hurtful to me . And that was the page with the vogue magazine and elle in the back ground and "Anna Wintour" stated This type is too large. It looks like its for a blind people. I dont know what she meant that was just the straw that broke the camels back. Because i am legally blind an this offended. I was already dissatisfied by the illistrration but i was trying to see how i could still my be use it i probably cost more to send back. Is there any way you can rectify this situation. Maybe a sample of another book to try for my inconvience. You show take the time to show more photos of the inside of the book so customers can see what they are getting. Because this book i would never recommend, sorry. PLEASE HELP, i dont like writing bad reviews an this book was the worst,

This was a Christmas gift for my niece who is 7. She loves to "design" her own clothes. She spent hours coloring in this book and designing her own styles. The pictures are hand-drawings. Not exactly what I expected, but she loved it!

This is like a coloring book for big girls in fashion!! I'm WAY past the age of coloring in the lines but this book is sooooo fun and kinda relaxing. I color in fashion accessories and apparel, it's absolutely so cute. This coloring book is for all ages and who says that I can't color because I'm in grad school. Helps take my mind off stress and who doesn't love fashion!!!

A woman I know was recovering from surgery and expected some hospital time so I got her this and a box of crayons. This was a novel gift, there were *lots* of different designs, and many open enough that she could "design" a little herself. This is what every aspiring Project Runway fan -- who's handy with crayons --- would love to get as a small gift.

Lots of fun to do, and nicely informative. It would earn a higher rating if it included more body types and ethnicities in order to work against the media stereotypes that are so detrimental to women, girls and men.

This is more of a fashion sketch book that can be colored. It has great designs in it but may not engage the interest of younger coloristas.

Got this for a friend in the hospital. She's a fashionable 30-something and this has helped to pass the time while she undergoes chemo for cancer. I sent it with a big pack of nice markers and colored pencils, and it was apparently a hit. Send along some nice fuzzy socks with non-slip bottoms and you've got the makings of a nice care package :-)

I have passed this book onto my daughter. It was far to young for me. The young will enjoy it

This is not what I had expected it to be.The colouring book is a decent size (over 100 pages), but the content is really poor. I was expecting to find highly stylistic drawings in this book and, instead, I found simple, crude line drawings. I've always loved to colour, but I don't think I'll be touching this colouring book.In the end, it definitely wasn't worth it. In terms of fashion, I'd rather colour using a Barbie colouring book.

I bought this as a guilty pleasure, but I was definitely impressed with the pictures included in this book. A lot of great designers with key pieces from their collections, as well as iconic symbols of American fashion. It's definitely not just about coloring shoes, dresses, and pants. If you pay close attention or study fashion, this book will likely impress you, it's a very cute concept.

A lot more misc things added than I was expecting. Would have liked to see more shoes, purses and clothing. It is a great colouring book. I'm am looking forward to colouring it :)

I am a lover of fashion. I would say it is definitely a hobby for me but definitely not my career. This is the best way for me to bring out my inner designer and love of fashion in a way that's just easy and fun.
