Best practical solution on the market IMO
Having now tested the Repour on a dozen bottles over a few months, I can say that it has enabled me to finally start enjoying my cellar. Previously I was unwilling to open a bottle by myself but with Repour I started to explore and taste my wines again. I even started to write about them online.Repour works very well up to two weeks in the fridge (37’F) with half a standard bottle remaining. Over a few nights, I did not detect any change in the character of the wine. Over two weeks, the wine loses a little complexity. Repour won’t work for a month because of oxygen that gets inside the wine liquid when it is initially poured.I love the simplicity of use. With Coravin, you need to plan ahead and the application is always a hassle. With Repour, you just put the cork on whenever you’re done tasting for the day.My fridge just about fits a tall Riesling bottle with the Repour on. One way I can tell it works is the vacuum (pressure reduction) it creates inside the bottle when left on. The seals works very well for all sorts of bottles. Conversely, it won’t stay on a bottle of sparkling. At $1.5 per bottle, this is a no-brainer. The Repour marks the end of the Coravin monopoly.

Easier and better than far more expensive solutions
Because my husband enjoys a nightly single glass of some rather pricey wines, and is the only drinker in the house, we’ve tried several products to preserve a bottle long enough for him to finish it. Vacuum devices—not very effective. Coravin—expensive and a PITA to use. We even tried the costly Plum wine dispenser, which when it worked was great, but stopped working quickly (and is no longer available), Then I stumbled on these Repour stoppers. Conceptually simple, but smart! They’re ridiculously easy to use. And according to my husband, at least as effective—possibly more—than the expensive, fiddly gadgets. I took off one star for two very mild complaints. 1) The stopper is tall, so it’s harder to fit bottles he prefers to be cold in the fridge. And 2) Using a fresh stopper for each bottle means throwing away a hunk of plastic. Reducing the height of the stopper would reduce the plastic waste. Or maybe it would be possible to design a re-usable stopper in which you place something like a capsule of the disposable compound that absorbs the oxygen. If Repour 2.0 comes out with that feature, I look forward to using it. In the meantime, the first generation Repour is by far the best solution I’ve found to preserve open bottles.

This is easy to use and works! Very happy!
I usually do not drink expensive wine, however, I am the only one drinking the wine, and a typical bottle lasts 3 days for me. So, I may have an opened red and white in my refrigerator at any given time. I have tried the gases in the can system, and none of them have worked so well and are as simple to use as Repour.I have used 2 different brands of those gases in the can that use Argon gas, for example. This is just OK. I find it is difficult to tell when the can no longer has gas in it. Even when the can is new, I found this only moderately effective: Red wine, especially, would need to be discarded, as it got sour anyway. I also used one of those battery-operated wine aerators, leaving that on the bottle until I used up the bottle, and filling it with Argon gas. I still had to discard the red wine, since it soured before I finished it. And with this procedure, I wasn't even re-opening the bottle between pours, because the aerator remained on the bottle! So, the Argon gas or other gas system is just moderately effective, in my experience.-----I am so surprised how easy to use and effective the Repour is! I can now drink my red wine down to the last drop, and it doesn't sour!-----So, problem solved, at last! I have not tried the needle in the wine bottle solution. In my opinion, that system is only worth it if you have expensive wine that you want to save. I have not tried the Repour for a long period of time, where you want to save better wine for a long time, but it may be great for that, as well. I am saying that it is excellent for everyday wine so that you don't have to discard the bottle before it sours, which has solved my particular problem, and I think others have a similar problem. That is my experience with it.

Surprised and Impressed!
Having tried many wine preservation "solutions", I had major doubts about this so seemly simple solutions ability to actually work. Boy was I proven wrong! I've used this one 3-4 wines already for as long as 3.5 weeks (haven't been able to resist much longer than that yet), including breaking back into the wine a couple more times during that timeframe. I notice no degradation to the wine at all unless I've re-opened it more than once additional time over a few weeks. I've even noticed that the wine needs to "open up" if it's been RePoured for a couple weeks without re-opening. Worth every penny, especially if you have mostly $50+ wines.

Not sure about theses
There are 4 in a packet. You use one for the entire bottle of wine. I’m still on the fence with these. It may keep your bottle of wine fresh for 2 days

Great Product
This product lives up to its claims!I have had a bottle on the go for six plus weeks now and it’s still fresh no sign of oxidation. However a small note; put the stopper back into the bottle ASAP. Leaving it exposed to the open air will shorten the life of the stopper.

They work really well
Really good and works. Possibly takes some nose away but the wine keeps really well and I’ve used it to keep wine a week so I can open couple of bottles, have a glass or two of each then next week go again. On half decent or wine costing a bit it’s well worth the £2 a stopper. They can only be used once but you can use a few times on same bottle limiting stopper back in but I’ve used them as a one shot to preserve.Brilliant and just what I needed.

Keeps wine drinkable for ages
I love these, they're really handy and do what they say they do. It would be even better if they were reusable, but I'm hoping that might be an option in the future!

Disappointed - mis leading detail
I should have read the details. I saw it was disposable but did not realise it was only good for 1 bottle. Too expensive for me I am going to return the box. Pity the details do not say SINGLE USE ONLY. Many things are disposable but have a multi use.
