Great microwave
Needed a new microwave. Ours was so old, I’m donating it to the Smithsonian Museum. Bought this one and I see what I’ve been missing. This microwave does everything and it’s easy to use. I’m so glad we picked this one!

Larger than I thought!
Heats well. Door lock is a pain, but that may just be my issue.

Great product.
Works great. If it lasts 10 years like my last one, I'll post an update.

Excellent purchase
I received this microwave to replace my Panasonic that I had for years. I just use it for heating stuff. It is more quiet than my old microwave and seems to be better built. I bought it primarily because of Sharps quality. I have one of their tube tvs that ran for years and still ran when I relegated it to the cellar because I wanted a bigger screen. I like that the light goes on when you open it. Although a 100 watts lower than my old one ,it is plenty fast. A note although not very heavy, it is unwieldy if you are older so maybe get some help.

Arrived with dented metal on top portion.
Arrived dented on top. The metal is pretty thin up there, so I massaged the dent a bit and it straightened somewhat, but is still has a noticeable crease where the impact happened, likely in shipment. Frankly, the vendor should remedy this...The microwave itself is a very nice looking model and It fits our space well, so we are weighing the hassle of a return/replacement, over just keeping the dented one, and trying not to notice...

Powerful, user friendly and quiet
Our older Panasonic 1250w micro finally bit the dust after 14 years. We chose this model due to our previous positive experience with Sharp Carousels, and the fact that this model allows you to permanently disable the child safety lock nanny feature. Although it is only 1100w we have not been able to detect any appreciable difference in the ability of the unit to heat food relative to the more powerful Panasonic. This unit also is significantly quieter than our previous unit, which we appreciate.
