CNC shop floors. Each micrometer is checked at 10 data points for maximum error tolerance with high precision gage blocks and also conducted inspection on parallelism and flatness by optical flat in a strict temperature controlled environment.

Nice set of mics
Box could be better but I plan on hanging them up anyway. The mics themselves though are very nice. I calibrated each one and only had to tweak 2 of them a few tenths. Compared to Starrett or Mitotoyo, you don't need a mortgage to get these. Well worth it and as a machinist 40+ years, I would recommend to any machinist out there.

Very similar to much more expensive micrometers. Smooth and packaged really well for shipping of such a delicate instrument..
