Buy After Hours for Flute and Piano Pap/Com by Pam Wedgwood (ISBN: 9780571522705) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Five Stars - Great arrangements for Grades 3-5! Review: Wow, I just read thru this collection of jazzy, bluesy, cocktail lounge-type music for flute and piano. It was just GREAT! The melody line on the CD is a tone, and many times I could not hear it, but the music fit so well with the piano it was hard to get lost. The tunes are all equally enjoyable to play or listen to. These are not easy tunes for a beginner, but a more advanced player. Good to learn syncapated rhythms and phrase development. The piano music is included, and separate from the flute music. I am so happy, I intend to try some of Ms. Wedgewood other flute music, too. This collection includes 8 short pieces. 1) Call it a Day 2) Sliding Doors 3) the Friends 4) Falling 5) Summer nights 6) Come dance with me 7) Remember when and 8) Survivor. I like all of them equally well, but Come Dance with Me....has a Boogie section. Oh lots of FUN! You will not be unhappy with this collection of original music.

Empfehlenswert.

Pam Wedgwood must be a musical genius. She composed the pieces in this intermediate flute songbook (and accompanying CD), and not only are the songs REALLY GOOD, but they make me sound like I don't suck as a flutist! Believe me, this is an amazing feat. I played them pretty painlessly the first time through with the CD, using the cued melody tracks. Now I play them easily using the noncued tracks, and my piano accompanist (OK, it's my mom) rocks right along with me. If you're looking for some original, jazzy and beautiful flute music to play, this product is right on the mark. And for extra added fun, go to YouTube and watch a tiny girl playing a terrific piano version of "Falling," a great song included in this book.

I received my book but did not get the accompaniment CD with it. Isn’t it supposed to be in the book? Or am I supposed to purchase the CD separately? Did I miss something?
