It was not the first clock we had ordered, they are very good value for money.I did not realise that the hook was broken off until I arrived at the relations house to repair a clock that had stopped working.I decided to fix then hook with Araldite rather than go through the bother of returning the damaged unit

Bought this to repair an existing clock that I didn't want to throw away. The first kit arrived with some damage through poor delivery handling so the Amazon returns process was tested. And came through! A new, undamaged kit arrived quickly and said clock lives again. Easy to fit, and keeps good time. Recommended

No it is too small. The thread going through wasn't long enough.There was not a description to indicate this

Not impressed in the long run, easy to put together, but hands work loose. It was ok to start with.

All you want to restilore any clock. Enough bits for most jobs

Ordered to replace a 30 year old mechanism from an M&S clock and surprisingly it all fitted quite well, some instructions beyond the pictures above may have helped but I figured it out.The hands were too long for the clock so I used the originals which fitted but the new spindle for the second hand was too narrow so had to cut down and use the new second hand which all worked fine - the battery slot is very snug but will fit - keeps good time and has restored a much loved even if not particularly valuable kitchen clock.
