Great automatic feeder for my turtle
This thing is a life saver. It holds enough food for me to go away for two weeks without having to worry. The battery has lasted forever(12 weeks now). It gives just the right amount of food. You can select how much food you want to give and how often. It took one second to set up on the tank and it is made of strong material.

Good feeder for smaller tanks and food types
I got this feeder thinking that it would handle feeding my Koi while I am away for a period of timeThe auger which moves the fish food can handle smaller varieties of food but not Koi sticksSome of the smaller pelletized food also got stuck in the auger which cut down on the amount of food that would flow to the pondThe dispenser does hold a good amount of food and the programming does allow for some variances in feeding but didn't quite work for my Koi as their main feeder so I use this to feed them smaller treats which I also like to give them occasionally and works well for that

Doesn’t last long
If you plan on using any kind of remotely solid stick or pellet food of any kind or size it will jam this feeder up. If you leave the timer on and it’s jammed it burns the motor up within weeks let alone the fact that it’ll leave your pets without food. Auger design is good but doesn’t work very well. If you use a flake food this might be a decent option. As many other reviews state you’ll want to throw the thing across the room just trying to get the batteries into it. Unfortunately mine burnt up today and no longer works a month and 4 days after receiving it. Just outside the return window I’m now stuck with this junk.

Easy and reliable
Works for a week long trip away. Easy to set up. Battery or plug in.

Good little unit for indoor use.
The unit works well and performs periodic feeding as you would want it to. Although the instruction are not the best on operation of the buttons, you can kind of figure it out. The connection between the unit and mounting base is not a very secure design, but makes the unit is easy for lift off and remove if needed. One mounting base choice is flimsy and slides around, the other is on. But the unit has a nice modern looking design and it does the job. It’s also very reasonably priced. It will do the job.

Bought for 2 week vacation.. Happy fish and working perfectly upon return.
Got this for a vacation. I messed around with settings until I found the right one for my little outdoor pond. Fed 4 big koi, lots of little minnows ect for the 2 weeks. Still had about 2 more weeks worth of food left in it too so that was good to know. Good selection of attachments to find the place where you can grip it to something that overhangs the place you want to drop the pellets. It does have to run a few cycles before the feeding drop is full so make sure you run it a couple times before you leave so they don't miss a day.

Good concept poor execution
This could easily be the best feeder on the market if they hadn't made such poor design choices. I swear it is like the company wants it to fail. First and most unforgivable is the battery compartment. It is impossible to install the batteries without some kind of tool. I used the nail file in my finger nail clippers. Why would anyone do something so idiotic? Second is the lack of a clock. The timer is started when you install the battery. No way to set a feeding schedule. You select an interval from the point of battery insertion. Ridiculous! There are a few other minor designs flaws that aren't worth mentioning but now on to the good. The auger design is brilliant! It is providing consistent feedings and is the perfect amount for my 30 gallon planted with guppies. I am using floating chips but I think that despite what the instructions say it would work with flake. I am going to mix the two in the future and see. Maybe even try nothing but flakes at some point because my guppies prefer those. I would easily pay more and give it a four or five star rating if they would just fix those two bone headed design flaws. I will conclude by saying the hopper size and mechanical operation is above anything else I have looked at but the design flaws are so glaring and unforgivable that I struggled to even give this a two star. I hope that someone takes a look at this design and produces the product that this should have been.

It didn't not work 🤷🏾♀️
The buttons do what they say but the portions distributed has me concerned for my pet the entire time I was away. The largest setting didn't even fill half a cupful (he eats a cupful a day). I had to make sure it distributed food at least 3x a day and it still wasn't enough.
