Boxer Break Metacarpal Splint Brace - 4th or 5th Finger Splint Support (Small)

Bought for my sons broken fingers after the small metals ones didn’t work. The quality is great and my son said it is comfortable. He also wore it during soccer and it was easy to clean and durable.

Feels great, fits great, and actually is universal for both hands (even though it has an ‘L’ tag on it). This is my second boxers fracture and i’m more than content with this product. Will be using in future if needed.

It preforms well. I just wish it had padding along the plates cause it's hard and uncomfortable for my fingers. I think the value is good and materials are as well.

I bought this when I broke my hand, and my other wrist, and I needed as much functionality as possible while wearing the brace. I wish I could figure out how to bend the metal pieces with 2 broken hands for a more natural curve of my fingers, but overall I am very pleased. The splint that my doctor recommended cost 4x as much as this one, and would take 10 days to arrive.One solution to the "dank" smell on the hands is to purchase "three inch stockinette" (that's the search terms). You create liners with these cotton tubes by cutting a length of it and notching out a piece for your thumb. No more stickiness, smelliness, or general dankness.

This was great after pinky finger surgery. Much better than the “boxing glove” contraption I left the hospital with. Rigid on outside to prevent finger from bending. Comfortable and easy to wear in dominant hand. Allowed me to still be able to type, write, drive, cook while protection my finger.

Bought an XS even measured my hand and went off the size chart but it was smaller than anticipated. The advertised photo shows your ring finger being fully covered but my ring finger pokes out. Luckily I only need to stabilize my pinky and my pinky is fully covered so it worked out fine for me, but keep that in mind if you need your ring finger fully covered. The strap that wraps around the knuckles is too short; The Velcro touches my skin making it uncomfortable (2nd photo). Wrist part is fine. I wish I was able to bend the splint so my hand is resting in a more natural state opposed to being completely straight but I should’ve done more research and bought a different brand that matches my needs more.

Works like it was designed to do, Comfortable to wear all day or sleep with. very easy to put on and off, great value for the money.

I have a congenital crook in my little finger that interferes with playing the violin. Now, with age, it's beginning to be tighter than usual. This splint helps to keep it out-stretched and helps stop muscle atrophy. I wear it at night and for several hours during the day when at home. I'd buy it again. Well made and has lots of room for adjustments. Good product for my needs.

For 5th baby finger, break between base & middle knuckle. Great product...soft, sturdy & can choose size, mine is S/M for a 5'4" woman with size 7 1/2 ring size . One size does NOT FIT ALL as realized when comparing to other products offered on Amazon. Has 2 very rigid pieces of metal that run the length of the hand and sandwich my pinky straight while butted up against 4th finger. l feel this would NOT be sturdy enough for a 4th metacarpal break, if your job is very physical like mine, it may give too much wiggle room, but is perfect for pinky! My Doctor loved the construction, metal & the wrist strap.

Very good value for a very good product. I broke my baby finger and had to immobilize it to my ring finger and also had to support my wrist. I used it on my right hand, as it can be used for either the right or the left hand. Very easy to use with one hand.

Have severe carpal tunnel in both wrists/hands. Use the metacarpal splint for left hand only at night and it has helped my trigger finger (ring) at night. Ordered a new one for my right hand as I am having issues with my ring and baby finger on right hand. Reasonably priced and ships in Canada so it's nice to have that. Also is sturdy and the Velcro tabs stay put overnight. This brand is both adaptable for left and right hands. I have a hand that takes a size 7 glove and I find it a bit loose around the middle of the wrist but the band can adjust and is comfortable.
